To ask if you use apple maps or Google maps for directions?

I only have apple maps on my iPhone but my friend recently suggested I should install Google maps as apparently it’s better? Xx

Google, apple maps never even worked on my Iphone.

Apple maps when walking and waze when driving. I don’t find google maps better. They are just different.

Waze is the best one

Google Maps, but recently discovered that Bing Maps has an ordnance survey layer which is very useful.

For me, I use google a lot so it’s useful to link everything together. Places I’ve been, hotels I’m due to stay in, etc.

I think Apple instructions are far superior. I got lost when google said stay left. I actually had to drive into the middle of a roundabout and then turn left. But generally they are similar though I think Apple update accidents and closures more quickly.

Google. Find it more user friendly and internet searches pull up directions via google maps. Only Facebook marketplace seem to ask for Apple maps - plus google maps.

For all those saying Waze is better than Google maps, it's owned by google, so there's really no difference other than how it looks. It uses the same base maps and information.

I've got an iphone and use Google maps. Its vastly superior in numerous ways. Just download it and see what you think. You can always delete it if you're not keen.

I use Google maps because any other app I open it just looks wrong. I like the colours on Google maps and everything is just really clear. I used to carry round an A to Z so this is just a natural follow on, set out in a similar way and it's clear where you are going. As someone who has difficulty with co-ordination and directions, that's what works best for me.

I used Waze for a while but found it less reliable and less user friendly than Google Maps.
