Kicked off the TV at 10pm most nights by DH so he can watch the news

So again tonight in the middle of watching a programme DH says it’s time to watch the news at 10pm. Now why can’t he just watch on it on a tablet/iPad? Why do I have to stop what I’m watching and go onto the iPad or just stop watching TV and go to bed. It’s not every night he does this but I feel like I am being bullied when he does.

That does sound unreasonable if you're already watching something else.
What would happen if you explained you were in the middle of watching something else and asked him to watch the news using another device?

Buy a second tv or hand him the iPad with the player open for the 10 o clock news.

I think if you’ve already had the Tv for awhile , and for most evenings, he should be able to watch the news on a big screen now and again.

Considering Freeview has BBC news or sky news hourly. Or you can check your phone. Why should you stop what you're allready watching. Wouldn't go as far to call him a bully. But I would be very annoyed too.

Your DH wants to watch the news rather than some shit show like love island. It's important to keep abreast of what's going on in the world and be aware of current affairs. It's only 30 minutes. Watch your show on some other gadget.
