to think that Brazilian bikini bottoms/knickers are insanely uncomfortable?

I have mistakenly ordered a bikini with Brazilian bottoms despite having a couple of pairs of Brazilian knickers that I rarely wear as they're so uncomfortable. Now, don't get me wrong, I can see the attraction of a nice cheeky bum on display. But they are sooo frickin' uncomfortable, how does anyone tolerate wearing them for any length of time?! I have a couple of pairs of Brazilian knickers that, to be frank, chafe my crack mercilessly and I only wear them if nothing clean is left in the knicker drawer and I know I'm not going to be walking around that much. But the bikini bottoms, omg! So much material in your crack, they are uncomfortable on another level. I have worn them once on the beach and never again. Is there anyone who thinks they are actually fine to wear? Or do most women just suffer them in order to look sexy?

YANBU = yes, they are insanely uncomfortable
YABU = no, I actually like having tons of unnecessary material chafing my crack and my arse cheeks fully on display

Sounds like the wrong size rather than the style to me.

ChiefWiggumsBoy · 23/08/2022 19:49

I actually find them really comfortable <shrug>

Sunnyqueen · 23/08/2022 19:49

I find them very comfortable, my preference now especially for a bikini.

woodhill · 23/08/2022 19:50

They are like that unfortunately

They seem to move across the crotch area unless you have tights on

BiscuitLover3678 · 23/08/2022 19:51

Maybe it’s bum shape? I’m bum heavy with a high bottom and yes it’s the same for me. I have to wear two sizes up from my jeans size 😂

CactusBlossom · 23/08/2022 19:51

Except there's not quite enough material in them if you want to cut them up to make dusters 😂

Meseekslookatme · 23/08/2022 19:52

Its all I wear!
Must be a good cut for my (somewhat large) bum

Mamette · 23/08/2022 19:54

They must suit people with nice round bottoms. They definitely don’t suit flat arses like me.

Afterfire · 23/08/2022 19:56

I can’t stand them. They’re neither in nor out as in fully covering. I’d rather wear a thong than something that hovers between.

NicolaSixSix · 23/08/2022 19:57

YANBU, and I’m Brazilian. They’re awful. People laughed at me with my big european bikinis when I’d go back to Brazil on holidays but I was comfortable and not with all that stuff gathering in my crack, joke’s on them

I have super comfy M&S Brazilian knickers, but the patterned ones are a different shape to the plain black (it's really weird). Patterned are much better! So if your bikini is the same shape as M&S plain black Brazilian knickers, YANBU.

SpaceJamtart · 23/08/2022 20:04

I love them as knickers, find them so comfy and flattering.
Awful as a bikini, but that is likely due to me squatting and crawling about in the sand and rockpools with toddlers when I wear swimwear and I would end up giving someone an eyeful.
They look nice on the composed people who are not also picking seaweed out of them

Choconut · 23/08/2022 20:14

I just couldn't imagine walking around with my arse hanging out. I also hate anything stuck up my crack. Definitely not for me.

ChiefWiggumsBoy · 23/08/2022 20:21

You're supposed to wear something over the top of them @Choconut Grin

alwaysfactor50 · 23/08/2022 20:25

I just had to google as didn't know what they were. Blimey they look uncomfortable 🤣.

Blaengwnfi · 23/08/2022 20:45

Not only are they uncomfortable but they are insanely unhygienic and linked to UTIs.

Runaround50 · 23/08/2022 20:47

Grim, uncomfortable and unhygienic.

GotTheConch · 23/08/2022 21:02

It’s a trend I genuinely don’t understand. I don’t think I could relax when being that exposed. Plus - oh my word - the waxing that must be involved beforehand!

luxxlisbon · 23/08/2022 21:04

Literally never experienced chaffing with underwear and never had a uti. I don’t really understand what is hygienic or unhygienic about someone’s underwear choice 🤷‍♀️

ChiefWiggumsBoy · 23/08/2022 21:08

Me neither @luxxlisbon Confused

And I don’t wax my bits because of underwear choice, but if I did they all look the same at the front so why would it be different?!

ColonelCarter · 23/08/2022 23:02

Depends where I get them from - ones that have a seam all the way along your vag and crack line feel like they're trying to split me in two but ones that are sort of 5 pieces so the gusset is flat with no parallel seam I find very comfortable.

They aren't unhygienic.
They don't rub against your arsehole ffs.
I'd rather a decent pair of Brazilian knickers than big pants!

StarlightLady · 24/08/2022 08:00

They are meant to sit on the bum, not cut into you. If you are, say, a size 16, wearing a size 14, or even 12 will not make you any thinner.

You really don’t need to wear what resembles a fitted bed sheet to be comfy.

TruffleShuffles · 24/08/2022 08:07

I find them massively uncomfortable, like others have said they are neither out of your arse or up it so I just find myself adjusting them constantly. I imagine after two kids the people who witness me wearing them on the beach would be massively uncomfortable too, they are definitely not flattering on my now flat cellulite ridden arse.
