I was just imagining Katie Price following the thread about her (not to make this a TAAT). I wonder if well-known people who are often discussed on here would defend themselves without revealing their identity. I think many are; what do you think?

Kate Middleton apparently was on here, but I don't know if she still is 🤷‍♀️

I think statistically there are and would be celebrities on here.

But I think YABU in the sense that, ok, there are likely to be celebrities here - but how would we 'know' as users?

When all that's required to sign up is an email handle, which could be 3459853tupaclives2394@btopenworld or whatever?

Nadia from Loose Women is definitely on here. She's made it obvious as she often raises conversations about popular threads and says 'I saw on an online forum'.

True, she could be. Or the show's researchers (same lazy lot as those writing for the Daily Mail) could be looking at the most trending topics on AIBU, and passing them to her before the show?

Then all she has to say is "I saw on an online forum someone say X" and who knows whether she's an active user, or just a show host doing the politician schtick of "I met someone on the doorstep who said"...

I like to imagine they’re posting on threads about really mundane things. There’s one in active alongside this one about how often people run their washing machines, for example.

I think quite a few have admitted to being on here. Probably less keen based on the recent security/data breaches though!

Mundane yes, but I also like the idea of them getting wound up and over invested in other people’s bizarre problems. I can see Kate trying to relay a parking thread to Wills.

JK Rowling must be on here right?! I don’t think she’d be hiding in the shadows without mumsnet but there must be a confidence that comes safe in the knowledge that there are like minded people out in the world who are as passionate as she is.
