Where do you buy your PJs?

And is it pyjamas or pajamas?? I say pyjamas but find it spelt both ways.

Anyway, I was lamenting the quality of my favourite PJs today and noted that the ones from Tesco are much better quality than M&S. I used to love M&S ones especially the cropped ones for summer. I don't like shorts as I prefer something substantial between my legs at night.

Where can I go (online) for decent quality at reasonable prices? I'd happily live in PJs if I could (and do as much as possible) and need ones that will last. Being autistic I get quite attached to items and don't like change so when my favourite PJs become too holey I feel bereft. They are like a best friend: reliable, comfortable and accepting of me in any state. I have scoured eBay for replacements many time but alas never find them.

Please share your PJ wisdom and add links if possible.

Sainsburys have some lovely pyjamas at the moment. My two favourite pairs in my pyjama drawer are: one from m and s - still as good as new 5 years on- and a fancy pair from Hush.

Nutmeg at Morrisons. I keep rewashing same pair even though I have loads of other ones from other supermarkets. So comfy!

My DH got me some pyjama bottoms from Hush for my birthday after I saw them recommended on Mumsnet. I LOVE them. So comfortable, they aren't particularly cheap, but I've asked for more this year, and I might never wear anything else when I'm at home.

I own about 20 pairs of Hush pyjama bottoms and nothing comes close really. I just wear them with plain vest tops

I buy mine from sainsburys
i think 99% of my pyjamas are from there-asdas just fade really fast and I hate tescos-they don’t fit properly
m&s is my mils choice to buy me them but they start to disintegrate really fast (maybe I just wear them too much!)
I buy the ones that come in a sealed packet and never had a problem with them

My favourite pair are the White Company. I treated myself and glad I did. I have 2 primark pairs that have lasted and stayed comfy too.

Definitely pyjamas!

(Mine are from emperor's new clothes store, so afraid can't comment on discussion beyond spelling)

Cyberjammies. They're not cheap unless on sale, but they wash really well, are lovely cotton and just get better with washing.

I've got quite a few pairs from M & S and they're awful in comparison.

The most lovely soft beautiful quality ones I’ve ever had were White Company. I bought them with vouchers though, there’s absolutely no way I’d spend that kind of money on pjs normally.

Usually I buy from Asda or Tesco. Quite often the mens section as the shorts are much more substantial (knee length as opposed to practically hot pants) and the tops less clingy.

M&S pyjamas are fantastic quality for money. You can buy a set for under 20 and they are long wearing durable and very comfortable. Sometimes you can get 20% off. I am always envious of the employees who can double dip with another 20% of their discount meaning they get 40% off and even on sale!

Primark pjs annoys me, why is everything covered in cartoon characters?

currently wearing my all time favourite pair of pyjama bottoms which are very very old, see through and holey in places. They’re from primark but they’re not their pyjamas- they’re the ones they sell separately as “loungewear” or some such. I have many many pairs in various colours but this particular pair are my favourites. I will be very sad when they eventually completely disintegrate. I pair them with either long sleeve tops or vests depending on weather and baby feeding necessity.

Mine aren't! I have a nice marl grey set with polka dots and a nice pinky orange pattern pair. Lovely and cool in the summer with short sleeve t shirts.

Tesco pyjamas are the best. The sets with long bottoms and short sleeved tops in lovely cotton. I love them.

Winter ones are Hush and they're great. Like other people I wear the trousers with a plain vest top, I do have the proper pyjama jacket but prefer just a top. Summer ones are from Sainsbury's - I've had several really nice, light pairs from there, both shorts and cropped trousers.

The one time I bought a pyjama top from Cyberjammies it was white, and is so see-though I can't wear it if we have people staying (which is a lot). Yes, I should have bought a coloured one, but I have other white PJs that aren't see-through!
