Where do you buy your PJs?

And is it pyjamas or pajamas?? I say pyjamas but find it spelt both ways.

Anyway, I was lamenting the quality of my favourite PJs today and noted that the ones from Tesco are much better quality than M&S. I used to love M&S ones especially the cropped ones for summer. I don't like shorts as I prefer something substantial between my legs at night.

Where can I go (online) for decent quality at reasonable prices? I'd happily live in PJs if I could (and do as much as possible) and need ones that will last. Being autistic I get quite attached to items and don't like change so when my favourite PJs become too holey I feel bereft. They are like a best friend: reliable, comfortable and accepting of me in any state. I have scoured eBay for replacements many time but alas never find them.

Please share your PJ wisdom and add links if possible.

Peacocks soft touch pjs are my favorite. You biy the top and bottoms separately in the long length.

I know they're not cheap, but I was given some Uniqlo PJ's at Christmas and i love them. They feel much better quality than others I've had (usually supermarket) they wash really well and they have plainer options than Primark (I have nothing against hearts/teddy bears/cartoon characters but that's not what I want to wear!)
I now have thinner ones for summer and some thick flannel for winter

All of mine are white company. I've tried others but I get annoyed at the quality songo back to white company. Now I just don't bother buying anything else.

Nearlyadoctor · 22/06/2022 22:12

Hush brushed cotton for winter - nothing else comes close, tried cyberjammies but after one wash a button came off and they shrank.
Spring / Autumn again Hush 100% cotton long sleeved or piglet linen ones
Summer - Piglet linen shorts and vest/ cami tops

Chelsea Peers - they are amazing and if you catch a sale reasonably priced too 🤩

Chelsea Peers, they’re exquisite!

Yes I have so many
especially love the cuffed sets with matching socks

Am obsessed with Their Nibs. The quality is excellent and they have lovely patterns.

Primark, Tesco or Nutmeg. I hate spending money on stuff I wear to my bed.

CoodleMoodle · 22/06/2022 22:30

Primark, definitely. In the summer I wear the shorts and vest sets, or the thin short sleeves with bottoms, along with the odd nightie here and there. In the spring and autumn I wear the thin long sleeves with bottoms. In the winter they do amazing fleecey ones.

I buy my DC PJs in there, too, and if they didn't grow so quickly they'd wear them for years. Mine have all lasted but I treat myself to a new set every now and then! Love new pyjamas.

Wouldloveanother · 22/06/2022 22:31

M&S or Lindex.

hattie43 · 22/06/2022 22:31

Hush for me , the softest ever . I get new ones every Xmas

catfunk · 22/06/2022 22:36

H&M do 100% cotton and linen pjs very reasonably priced and last years.

Babdoc · 22/06/2022 22:38

Crikey, don’t you lot all boil, wearing pyjamas in summer? I’m in Scotland, but still sleep nude in this weather, and just wear a thin cotton t shirt in winter. I’d be far too hot under a duvet if I had pyjamas on.

IllDoItButOnlyForTheAttention · 22/06/2022 22:40

I was a Hush fan too, and like others I just bought the bottoms and wore with a vest top. Then they changed the design a bit and I found the new fit didn't work for me. I was v sad about that. I've still got my old pairs that were my absolute favourites but am sadly too fat in the hips for them now.

My new favourite is PJ Pan as they fit me like Hush used to. I ADORE them. But they are expensive. I'm slowly building up a collection whenever I've had a bit of overtime or some birthday money.

I spend more time in pyjamas than in clothes, so it's worth it to me! I don't even sleep in them unless it's very cold, but my home comfort clothing is plaid PJ bottoms, vest or hoody and sheepskin boots.

harasgmc · 22/06/2022 21:56

Mine aren't! I have a nice marl grey set with polka dots and a nice pinky orange pattern pair. Lovely and cool in the summer with short sleeve t shirts.

I absolutely love these pyjamas. I’ve got about 8 pairs. So comfy and wash great for £6 a pair.

Neapolitanicecream · 22/06/2022 22:44

Sainsburys nightie you’ll never look back. Would never buy primark as child labourers

MarpleFan · 22/06/2022 22:46

Absolutely love my Piglet in Bed ones but they’re not cheap (a present) but I also love these via Brandalley. You need to sign up but it’s free. www.brandalley.co.uk/17429625.html

mrsfeatherbottom · 22/06/2022 22:56

Fat Face - they are the only ones I wear. DH buys me a nice set every year for my birthday. So soft and cosy.

Usernamqwerty · 22/06/2022 23:00

Wish I could live in my PJs 😆(I did when my kids were newborns).

I like Asda and Primark ones.

1fluffydoodle · 22/06/2022 23:03

My current favourite

Cyberjammies on sale.

The finest cotton lawn summer nighdresses.

The softest brushed cotton winter pjs.

Both worth every penny!

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 22/06/2022 23:09

Next and Chelsea peers

Badnosesituation · 22/06/2022 23:16

I like the primark classic collared pjs , they have really nice prints usually and I like the loungewear bits too. Though I do prefer all cotton pjs so I got these recently
marlonlingerie.co.uk/collections/new-spring-range/products/aria-print-cropped-leg-pyjama
i like a shorter leg length in the summer but not too short so these are great for me .

BarryStir · 22/06/2022 23:17

Chelsea Peers, or the bamboo oversized tees from Oodie

TheChosenTwo · 22/06/2022 23:20

Generally I sleep naked although in the coldest of winters I may stick on a tshirt and pair of knickers, maybe 10 nights of the year.
I also like something substantial between my legs at night 😳
