Where do you buy your PJs?

And is it pyjamas or pajamas?? I say pyjamas but find it spelt both ways.

Anyway, I was lamenting the quality of my favourite PJs today and noted that the ones from Tesco are much better quality than M&S. I used to love M&S ones especially the cropped ones for summer. I don't like shorts as I prefer something substantial between my legs at night.

Where can I go (online) for decent quality at reasonable prices? I'd happily live in PJs if I could (and do as much as possible) and need ones that will last. Being autistic I get quite attached to items and don't like change so when my favourite PJs become too holey I feel bereft. They are like a best friend: reliable, comfortable and accepting of me in any state. I have scoured eBay for replacements many time but alas never find them.

Please share your PJ wisdom and add links if possible.

Hanro- like sleeping on air (or handmade Swiss cotton)

bridgetreilly · 22/06/2022 23:41

Pajamas is the American spelling. I buy mine at Tesco and Sainsburys.

I have a lovely pair my sister bought me as a present from joules. Just looked though and they don’t have many in at the moment.

Primark,Tesco or matalan for me

if you get attached why don’t you buy a few pairs

Not PJ, but other clothes....

For me, that would be because they're not immediately obviously going to become exceedingly comfortable & by the time they are, they no longer sell the item!

I have bought multis of the same thing when they've instantly been amazing and are still in stock.(only thing is people assume I'm wearing the same t shirt or cardigan etc 🤭

the other issue is sometimes although they're apparently identical sometimes they wash up differently.

StoneofDestiny · 07/08/2022 21:41

Pyjamas - M&S

WinterMusings · 07/08/2022 21:42

Natures Finest

though it's getting a little out of shape these days 🫠

50daysplus · 07/08/2022 21:47

Primark. Or if I want something nicer Chelsea peers and next do a range also.

bathbombaholic · 07/08/2022 21:49

Another vote for Chelsea Peers here! Love mine, won't wear anything else now!

avocadotofu · 07/08/2022 21:52

Usually Boden or John Lewis.

StressfulBedtimes · 07/08/2022 21:52

My favourite ever pair are DKNY ones from Costco

mycatisannoying · 07/08/2022 21:53

Primark. But I hear great things about Sainsbury's pyjamas.

17CherryTreeLane · 07/08/2022 21:55

Definitely Cyberjammies! I now give them to friends as birthday presents, and they always love them.

Lillygolightly · 07/08/2022 22:06

I had 2 sets from Nutmeg at Morrisons

Navy fox print & white bunny print, the navy was my favourite but sadly were literally cut off me during a hospital emergency. I still have my bunny print ones but my little one chucked an orange crayon in the wash with them so now they have faded orange streaks on them, they are so comfy I still wear them though.

ohidoliketobe · 07/08/2022 22:10

Sainsburys and Next for me

LadyJGrey · 07/08/2022 22:13

Another Cyberjammies fan (despite the name being a bit cringey!)
I’ve actually just bought a cropped set Op.

jammiewhammie65 · 07/08/2022 22:14

Primark. Wash a million times and still nice

onelife22 · 07/01/2023 17:50

My favourite ones are White Company and Primark. I have 2 pairs of each and love them both equally.

TheHateIsNotGood · 07/01/2023 18:01

My absolute number one pyjama tip is the Men's pyjamas section in most shops; particularly if you like living in pyjamas.

They have decent sized pockets in all the right places, so you can carry on domestic life as if you were dressed. If the 'front opening' bothers you, just sew it up, I'm pretty sure they don't hang open at the front on women anyway.

AnxiousPancreas · 07/01/2023 18:02

Shein. I’m short and they sell the most adorable one-pieces. The only downside is having to get fully naked to pee 😂
