Weekly Waitrose shop cost

If you shop at Waitrose for your main shop, how much do you spend for your family?
I've just received my vouchers and was very excited as they promised to be the best yet and they were for £17 off if I spent £170!! There's 3 sometimes 4 of us and there's no way I'd usually spend that much. I shop for my mum in that shop and at most it's £150 and that's when we are buying in December for Christmas.
I've not done a shop (for me) there for a while for various reason but having done an online shop today I can't believe how much things have gone up. My mum's ready meals (needed due to disability if I can't cook for her that day) have jumped by a pound in the space of a week! Pasta has shot up. Hell, most things have shot up. It will be a once or twice a month order now with top ups from Asda as I pass there daily.

If you have a family of 3 or 4 people how much do you spend approximately? Including household items as we buy those there too. I'd easily spend £120 if I could but try to keep to £80.

Hello, I don't suppose anyone has any July discount code they'd be happy to share? Thank you 😊

We have a family of 5 ( 2 adults , 3 year old and twin 10 month olds) and our food shop weekly used to come in under £120 that was for about 57 items. We can't get it to that price whatsoever anymore and only about 30 items.

We switched to sainsburys and it cost under £120 for around 60 items. This includes nappies/formula and beer for my husband.

So we've officially made the switch and just do the top up shop for fruit and veg in waitrose.

There’s 2 of us currently and on food, soft drinks & household items it’s about £80 at Waitrose, if we have a lot of meat or any alcohol that can go to £100 or more. Their ‘vouchers’ are crap, weekly it’s about £3 off every shop but they’ve just introduced their £3 delivery charge!
Last week after I’d ‘checked out’, I put the same order in my Tesco online basket to see how much cheaper it would have been, and the total was almost exactly the same, give or take a few quid as I couldn’t match every item exactly.
Aldi is very good on price even still but I can never get a full shop in there and have to go around other places trying to find what I need, when time & petrol is spent it’s been a waste.

waitrose is definitely the most expensive supermarket, I probably spend £300-400 a week there on top of a monthly Ocado.
