Hey everyone had a little fun time with my partner he ended up not pulling out on my period app it says my ovulation is in 6days I don't want to be pregnant right now is pregnancy chances very low ??

OP posts:

If you don’t want to be pregnant and are in the correct ‘window of opportunity’ when having sex, then you have a 50/50 chance of being pregnant as a result.

If you are absolutely sure that finding out in a few weeks that you are pregnant would be a disaster for you then the best way to mitigate it is to go to your local pharmacy tomorrow morning and organise the ‘morning after pill’. You have a couple of days after unprotected sex to take the pill for it to be at its most effective but the pharmacist will discuss it with you and prescribe if appropriate.

rocketfromthecrypt · 10/06/2022 23:45

Go to the chemist, get the morning after pill, and discuss putting a proper regular contraceptive in place.

Aquamarine1029 · 11/06/2022 00:06

If you don't want to be pregnant, stop having unprotected sex. It's so irresponsible.

N1C · 11/06/2022 00:21

Definitely do get the morning after pill and definitely do sort out some proper contraception for the future.

It's concerning that he "didn't pull out". Did he not get the memo or was it deliberate?

Mamai90 · 11/06/2022 00:33

This is incorrect, its roughly a 1 in 5 chance per cycle if you're under 30 with no underlying fertility issues.

OP, you're 6 days off ovulation so this wouldn't be considered 'peak' fertility but at the same time there is still a chance as sperm can survive for several days before an egg is released. You should probably get the MAP if you're really worried.

ladydimitrescu · 11/06/2022 00:35

Order the morning after pill to collect tomorrow. It can be done online, and collected from a pharmacy of your choice.

Those of us currently TTC wish the odds were this high!

BritWifeInUSA · 11/06/2022 05:40

Two months ago you were 14 weeks pregnant, according to your other posts.

Quite a sensitive question and could be the reason why OP doesn't want to be expecting at this moment.

Rememberallball · 11/06/2022 06:38

Apologies @Mamai90 amd @wellhelloitsme, I wasn’t quoting statistics of 1 in 2 chance of being pregnant; I was saying it more in an “either you will be or won’t be” manner. As the, very exhausted mother of IVF twins, my fingers ran away from my brain and not clarity when I posted last night and I didn’t think that the words would be taken that way.

girlmom21 · 11/06/2022 06:38

If you don't want to be pregnant and are tracking your cycle don't have sex when you're fertile and use contraception.

Get the MAP.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 11/06/2022 07:17

Get the MAP. I had 7 days left to ovulation and got pregnant.

This and tbh pregnancy is not your only worry

pinkunicorns54 · 11/06/2022 07:24

Who said she's got rid of an unwanted pregnancy?

I've just done an AS and can't find anything that suggests this, or that she was 14 weeks pregnant not long ago as a PP has suggested. If that's what you're referring to, have you considered maybe she hasn't terminated?

Yodaisawally · 11/06/2022 07:44

If you don't want to be pregnant go and get
Some contraception sorted

Blaze1886 · 11/06/2022 07:46

Grow up

ThinWomansBrain · 11/06/2022 08:38

Blaze1886 · 11/06/2022 07:46

Grow up

quite
if you are old enough to be in a relationship where you're having sex (or "fun time"ffs), you are old enough to know about contraception and the morning after pill.

RoseAndRose · 11/06/2022 08:49

You need to get the MAP, today.

And if you do not want to be pregnant, then you need to have proper contraception in place.

Withdrawal is not an adequate method. If you want a male method then its condoms.

Blaze1886 · 11/06/2022 07:46

Grow up

Indeed

Maireas · 11/06/2022 10:02

You have a child already, don't you? Didn't the HV give contraceptive advice? Just think the baby you have, and plan accordingly.

cocoo43 · 11/06/2022 11:13

Thanks to everyone for their kind suggestions but to everyone else with their negativity you need to grow up your acting like we all haven't had a situation like what I'm asking for advice for young or old

I have my reasons on why I do not agree with contraception that's my own opinion that's why I was asking for any other suggestions

But I guess I'm going to have to take the MAP

OP posts:
rocketfromthecrypt · 11/06/2022 11:27

Don't agree with contraception? If you don't, and don't want to have a baby, stop having sex.

clpsmum · 11/06/2022 11:28

If you don't agree with contraception then your going to have to deal with an unwanted pregnancy or even worse an unwanted sti
