I just thought it was an odd choice given that he performed that song at Diana's funeral? Must bring back unhappy memories for the royals surely?

Funny you should say that as for some reason when I heard the opening bars I also thought surely he’s not doing ‘Candle in the Wind’. Luckily he wasn’t. Took me a few seconds to get it straight in my head though. Strange.

The first few chines did sound like it.
