It's June and I'm lighting a fire! Is it just me?!

OP posts:
Winterhail · 02/06/2022 17:16

Not just you. It's ridiculous for June

nannybeach · 02/06/2022 17:16

Depends where you live. Here in the SE UK,my outdoor thermometer is reading 25c, admittedly it's in the sun now.

Loobyloo68 · 02/06/2022 17:17

No, will be lighting mine soon. Not putting the heating on though. I've been in the garden all day and it's been lovely and warm but going cool now

Rememberallball · 02/06/2022 17:17

Yep - too hot here to be outside for any length of time

YerAWizardHarry · 02/06/2022 17:18

North East Scotland and we sat out the back this afternoon in T-shirts and had washing on the line all day!

PuppyMonkey · 02/06/2022 17:18

24 degrees here…Derbyshire. Where are you?

Crikeyalmighty · 02/06/2022 17:19

Bloody warm here in Windsor - must be 22 or 23

skybluee · 02/06/2022 17:19

It was cold here until the end of May. The day before the last day it was absolutely freezing in the morning. However, the weather changed.

LilyGlobe · 02/06/2022 17:19

SE England and have sunburn despite having factor 30 on 🤦‍♀️ The breeze is cool but it’s glorious in the sun.

Ragruggers · 02/06/2022 17:19

Cornwall,beautiful hot sunny day.Lucky us.

bloodywhitecat · 02/06/2022 17:22

It's warmer outside than it is in the house. Once the kids are in bed I am going to sit under the fleecy blanket and do the day's admin but am going to resist the temptation to light the fire.

ProfYaffle · 02/06/2022 17:23

I've been sat in the garden but came in as my legs were getting too hot!

PaddingtonBearStareAgain · 02/06/2022 17:24

Not cold here.

Curiosity101 · 02/06/2022 17:26

It's been low-mid 20s where we are (East Midlands). We've had all windows and doors open all day. Where abouts are you OP?

indoorplantqueen · 02/06/2022 17:26

Beautiful in the SE. Just been to the beach.

Chewchewbacca · 02/06/2022 17:27

In cut of jeans and t shirt.. determindly .. amd have goose bumps ! Agree

AnnaSW1 · 02/06/2022 17:29

It's been so hot here today

SpaceyCake · 02/06/2022 17:31

I was pleasantly boiling in shorts and t-shirt in the garden earlier. 😃 It's definitely been a mixed bag recently though!

Laiste · 02/06/2022 17:33

Midlands here - it's t shirt weather all day but was damn chilly first thing (6am) Colder than it's been for ages in the morning.

It's been the wind that's been ruining it here. But today it's dropped.

whynotwhatknot · 02/06/2022 17:37

no i dont really get cold and its only 17 here today

thefirstfortyeight · 02/06/2022 17:38

I'm not cold but it's 17 degrees and cloudy in my part of Cheshire today so not particularly warm either.

Hallyup89 · 02/06/2022 17:55

Yorkshire and I've been bloody freezing today. Woke up shivering and wishing the heat had come on.

Marmite27 · 02/06/2022 17:57

It’s been cold in Yorkshire. DH dressed the kids for a day out and put them in shorts. I told him to put leggings in the bag.

He returned with two cold, crying children.

TomAllenWife · 02/06/2022 17:57

It's boiling in SWest
I literally move from room to room huffing that I can't cool down anywhere

Svara · 02/06/2022 17:58

South West and it's been warm today. I've had all the windows open and been reading in the sunshine and pottering about in the garden. Top of 20.
