He asked me for a drink

My ex boyfriend who dumped me wished to remain friends. He said he did not have feelings for me anymore. I did not speak to him really after that.

He has now messaged me to meet up to go for a drink next week.

Why?

@knitteddollblue who knows? He might be after a shag, he might have realised how good you were together, or any other random thing, but all that matters is he dumped you, you'd never feel secure in that relationship again.

Well I suppose I do. I was weird he broke up out the blue I thought things were fine but what can you do? So I just said it is fine you do you and never bothered him agAin 😂

I think if he thought he had made a massive mistake and wanted to try again he would say something to indicate that beforehand, otherwise it's more likely to be ego boost/ hookup territory
