Has Sanex changed?

I’m getting really smelly by about 2pm and it’s completely new.

I shower daily
Chanbe clothes daily
Let deodorant dry before dressing

Wtf is going on? It’s horrid 😭😭😭

Have you picked up a Biome protect one as I don't think it is an antiperspirant and is just a deodorant?

No it’s the blue one I’ve been using for years.

however a chat with friends has suggested it might be me going peri menopausal making me smell.

what fun.

I am finding it hard to control my smelly pits too. Currently doing ok with the Sure maximum cream that comes in a box

Same here. It must've changed, I've always used the blue as well. However picked up the orange one and all is well again.

I’ve bought a whole bunch from Boots to try - I’ve honestly never spent so much on such a boring item but I’m sitting here smellling myself and it’s nasty 🤣

That's so weird! I bought some Sanex a few weeks ago instead of my usual Nivea and was smelling sweaty by mid afternoon so I binned it!

I'll let you into a secret.

Buy some antibacterial personal care disinfectant liquid and rub a little underneath your arms every other day for a couple of weeks, then cut down to once a week. It kills the bacteria and there's no more smells.

I can't use antiperspirant due to allergies, but I'm okay with the antibac liquid.

It's not unusual to develop stronger body odour as you approach menopause. It definitely happened to me. I had used the same deo for years and suddenly it wasn't enough.

Max strength deodorant is brilliant, the one in the box, around a £5. Dove or Sure , never lets me down.

Same here! Thought maybe it had been opened too long. Binned and switched to a Nivea spray one. Feel better now I've seen this thread. Thanks 😊

Second this one, put it on at night
Wash armpits with soap (actual soap, not dove) and wipe glycolic acid under arms before applying deo

I find the roll on or gels much better. Dry off with a hairdryer! Mitcham gel is very good too.

I'm so glad I'm not the only strangely sweaty/smelly one here 😀

Asda didn't have any sure or dove maximum so I went for sanex, big mistake! It's definitely changed since I last used it.
