I prefer tea to alcohol.

Watching TV to going out.

A nice meal at reasonable time.

Jigsaws over beer pong.

A cuddle over three hour animalistic rampant satisfying sex.

A one to one chat at a quiet table in a corner than loud big group chatter.

Never. Ever. Ever Fancy dress.

Watching a sunset quietly rather than bingo bongo.

I'm vanilla and Proud.

Anyone else?

Come join my humdrum harem.

Yes, me too. Love a night in with my cross stitch and a podcast. I have lots of interests, but they aren't very "cool". Luckily DH and I are like two peas in a pod.

lisavanderpumpscloset · 12/05/2022 19:15

Another proud vanilla here, although not sure the goings-on in my head would agree 😁

lemons44 · 12/05/2022 19:17

I'm joining! Love a hot chocolate in bed and a nice early night.

moiraandthebebe · 12/05/2022 19:19

I'm with you. I've been wild, I've never quite been a fan (although the alcohol & drugs may have said otherwise).

I'm content with nature walks, good coffee, the occasional cocktail or glass of wine, good food, a nice home and garden to relax in, my books, good tv shows and film and spending lots of time with my dogs and family.

DappledShade · 12/05/2022 19:36

I am completely with you, I prefer slippers to stilettos and love nothing more than an early night with a cup of tea!

Staynow · 12/05/2022 19:36

Sounds like bliss.

Lifeafterloss22 · 12/05/2022 19:42

With you all the way.

I love new pjaymas and a cup of tea.

Long walks in the countryside over anything… followed by a nice pub lunch.

The thought of being out past midnight gives me shivers, I don’t know how younger me use to do it…. (Probably the peer pressure and alcohol….)

ScrubUpWellInMySundayBest · 12/05/2022 19:57

I think I’ve found my people here 😁

Onlythelaundryfairy · 12/05/2022 20:07

Me too, although I do worry that my conversation might be boring.

Mercedesbenz2022 · 12/05/2022 20:12

I’m with you all ..
big knickers instead of scratchy skimpies
I have no fear of missing out ( fomo ) , in fact I love it

bellac11 · 12/05/2022 20:13

Me too. Theres not enough celebration of the mundane.

mackthepony · 12/05/2022 20:15

Me too! But I have a very engaging personality, witty and kind

Pineapplepine · 12/05/2022 20:15

I’m with you except for bongos bingo. It is amazing! Although I do love a good sunset

RadFad · 12/05/2022 20:16

I'm feeling this thread. Nothing better than an evening in with my crochet or a hot bath with a good book.

Feckingfeck · 12/05/2022 20:19

Vanilla and proud...

Would blame having DC but I had never actually been on a night out as such beforehand anyway 😂 nothing I would dread more 😬

GreyTS · 12/05/2022 20:21

I'm jealous, wish I could just relax, I twitch constantly, feel like I'm missing out if I'm not out doing something. Can't even read a book these days, I think it's being single, the mundane stuff is lonely, I have a boyfriend but I'd love a partner to chill with

Trainbear · 12/05/2022 20:22

You betcha ! Horlicks with hubby, a good book and boring.

I've done exciting -its grossly overrated. Makes you worried, nervous, injured and late for supper.

HarryBlackberry1 · 12/05/2022 20:23

I am totally like this. I have found my tribe in this thread..

Mol1628 · 12/05/2022 20:25

Absolutely! This is me too. No interest in being ‘fun’. I know what I like.

Some family actually tried to convince me to go to bongo bingo recently. They wouldn’t accept that I would really hate it. I’m in my 30s I know what I like so I wish people would leave me alone sometimes.

JollyWilloughby · 12/05/2022 20:25

Yes to all of that bar the cuddle. I do love a good shag.

MrsTerryPratchett · 12/05/2022 20:26

TEQUILA ANYONE? Wooooo hoooooo!!!

I'll get my coat.

something2say · 12/05/2022 20:27

Me too. Love being at home.

Idbemonica1 · 12/05/2022 20:27

Looking forward to a weekend of reading and cross stich, i have found my people!

KohlaParasaurus · 12/05/2022 20:28

Soon after we got together, my future husband said, "My favourite thing is sitting next to you in bed watching you play Bubble Breaker on your 'phone." We've done some adventurous things together, but our fundamental boringness is the glue in our marriage.

gluenotsoup · 12/05/2022 20:30

Oh, yes that’s me too! I’m happy to get dressed up and go out, I enjoy it mostly, but it’s less and less appealing. I would much rather be at home, with my kindle, the tv, and my family. I like a theatre show, a film, the odd gin and tonic, and to just be happy with what I have. And an early night. 😂
