So I have been WFH this morning and was lay on the bed taking a call and my DH came behind me and poked me up the rear really hard. I completely flipped as it really hurt!

Why are you in bed taking work calls?

I'm confused by this post. Were you clothed? What did he poke you with? Without more details it's hard to say. It could be anywhere in between an ill-timed prank and a vicious assault without more details

yes, was fully clothed! Just ran upstairs as kids were downstairs and needed to take the call in peace. Wasn’t assault or anything just really pissed me off as it bloody hurt! (For anybody querying I don’t usually work on the bed, just needed to escape quickly)

When you say "up the rear" - do you mean he inserted his finger or that he poked your bum cheek?
I don't think either is okay BTW, I'd have been pissed off at a bum cheek poke but absolutely nuclear at penetration.
