Just as the title says.

Noah Donohoe disappeared coming home from school, his body was found in a storm drain without his clothes.

His mother can not get answers on why the police decided, immediately that there was no four play and us being blocked from seeing 4 files by the police.

She says On the day Noah was found, before Noah was formally identified, the Police did a media release stating that there was ‘No Foul Play’ involved.I ask, if the police are so sure that ‘No Foul Play’ was involved, why are the police now trying to stop me, as Noah’s mummy, getting four files of information on Noah’s investigation?

Surely I am not unreasonable to think this isn't ok and that most of use would want to know what had happened to our child?

This is an overview of what has happened so far.

Wasn't he just? Thanks pp. Let's keep it going for Noah and Fiona. The PSNI need to know that a lot of eyes are on them. There are people who know exactly what happened to Noah - let's hope and pray they eventually do the right thing.
CatChant · 30/03/2022 21:44

Beautiful video of a lovely boy. So very many people must be heartbroken at his loss.

I have already signed the petition and now DD and her friends have too.

If there is nothing to hide then why is the PSNI seeking to close those files?

Noah deserves justice. Fiona deserves the truth.

Bumping for the night crowd.

I watched the podcast with Fiona and it made me cry. She has every right to know what happened to her child. Its inhumane to torture her this way by refusing to give her the answers she seeks. Her speculation makes sense as to why the truth is being hidden and why the police fuck ups were too many in number to be coincidental.

FFS even if the truth were to cause WW3, it doesn't change the fact that that mother deserves justice for her little boy.

wombat1a · 31/03/2022 05:51

Absolutely not, in cases like this police often interview the know 'people of interest' just to eliminate them from enquiries. Those people could be identified from those files even if their names were redacted.

However she should be told how and why they have come to the conclusion of not foul play.

They could redact personal details to keep it anonymous.

Redaction can remove any personal details.

I agree, pp. It wouldn't cause WW3 though, that is just being used as a smokescreen by some. The vast, vast majority of people want the truth to out and stand with Noah and Fiona.

Redaction can and is used effectively to protect 'the innocent,' as pps have said. In this specific case, there are genuine concerns of a cover-up of police incompetence and bias, protecting the guilty and hiding the truth about what really happened to Noah. That is not in the interests of justice. I wonder what this poster would think and feel if it was their loved one?
