Just as the title says.

Noah Donohoe disappeared coming home from school, his body was found in a storm drain without his clothes.

His mother can not get answers on why the police decided, immediately that there was no four play and us being blocked from seeing 4 files by the police.

She says On the day Noah was found, before Noah was formally identified, the Police did a media release stating that there was ‘No Foul Play’ involved.I ask, if the police are so sure that ‘No Foul Play’ was involved, why are the police now trying to stop me, as Noah’s mummy, getting four files of information on Noah’s investigation?

Surely I am not unreasonable to think this isn't ok and that most of use would want to know what had happened to our child?

This is an overview of what has happened so far.

Fiona Donohoe, Noah's incredible mummy, fighting for her son.

A grieving mother really should not be having to do this.

Will you help her?

If you have not watched it, here is Noah's mummy Fiona's podcast. It is, of course, a tough watch - TW - but gives the best understanding of the situation. The interview begins at about 3:21. If you can, please give it the time it deserves and watch until the end.

Several of the regular posters and bumpers on this thread are away for a little while. As most people know, the algorithms set for this thread make it very difficult to get into Active for more Mumsnetters to see it and get to know about Noah. If anyone would like to join in or help a bit more, it would be much appreciated. 💙

Watching murder in the badlands really highlights the failures within the system, the ignorance of officers.

This is 2022 thank god for the powerful social media and the strength of Fiona fighting for Noah.

Boston Marathon - Noah's story has reached the Governor of Massachusetts.

Noah's story deserves to be heard far and wide. Not hidden. Flooded with light.

Can you help?

Yes, thank God for it, but it shouldn't be needed. A grieving mother having to do all this and for nearly 2 years.

It is inhuman. Torture.

KisstheTeapot14 · 19/04/2022 18:25

The police are compounding an already terrible tragedy by not giving Noah's family the truth of the circumstances of his death. I feel desperately sorry for their situation.

After watching the (haunting) BBC series murder in the badlands - I am sadly in no way surprised. Some serious issues with policing here going back decades.

KisstheTeapot14 · 19/04/2022 18:30

@EmeraldShamrock1 snap! That series does put this terrible series of events into context - similar themes and legal loopholes and family blaming.

Shocking for the families and children let down by those who should uncover truth and bring about justice and prevent any further violence (if this was a factor in Noah's death).

I am praying that Fiona gets answers, as she says we are the thousands watching and wondering what the hell is going on.
