What does your normal Sunday look like? Any tips on not getting that urgh it’s Monday tomorrow feeling?!

Up at about 8 (always a struggle - I'm a night owl), then go to church at 9.30. We often go out to brunch afterwards, then go walking or cycling if the weather is nice.

I sometimes have a nap in the afternoon, then usually back to church at 6pm, then home for an easy dinner (chicken kebabs tonight). In the evening we might watch TV (planning on watching Hidden on iPlayer today) or read, then bed.

it helps if you have a job you enjoy - I never get that feeling about dreading returning to work - in fact I even popped into work today to sort something out. Grin - Although I appreciate that's not possible for many jobs.

Sundays tend to be quite lazy for me now that our DS is at Uni - Church in the morning, visit my elderly DM for coffee - sometimes take her to a garden centre or out for lunch; DH plays golf in the morning and we may go for a walk later and cook a big dinner in the evening - before the usual dilema of trying to find something we both enjoy watching on TV. He's away tonight so I get to choose!

I enjoy my job but I still get that ‘urgh’ feeling.
I try to have a lazy Sunday but it doesn’t work out that way usually. We always have an easy roast which means just marinate some chicken and shove it in the oven with potatoes and do some veg. Ideally, I like to have that prepped as early as possible so I can get on with my day.
Then it’s trying to get out for a bit somewhere, coming home and getting dinner sorted, have some kind of dessert after dinner with the family watching a film. Send everyone to bed at a decent time.
In order to maximise laziness, Friday evening and Saturday means getting all the laundry, homework, shopping and cleaning done.

Depends on the time of year for us. Spring and summer we usually spend time in the garden. Autumn we go for long walks and winter we watch films, play games or bake.
