Dh has a thing about being barefoot in the house. It's bad and wrong, apparently, and will lead to pneumonia and/or arthritis (he's Italian, so...
).
I, on the other hand, hate wearing shoes and prefer to be barefoot at home whenever possible.
Fine, we have learned to live with our opposing views on appropriate footwear.
However, he keeps nagging DD (who's 5) to put on her slippers. DD has inherited my approach to footwear and would prefer to be barefoot. But he reminds her about ten times a day to put her slippers on. And then he gets cross when she doesn't have them on. And then there's a big to-do because of the fucking slippers.

I haven't said anything up to now, in the spirit of always backing up the other parent, but any day now, I'm going to flip and tell him to shove the fucking slippers up his fucking ...

AIBU?
(Lighthearted, before I'm told I'm being incredibly childish/DH should LTB, etc.)
