I'm just speechless at what he's doing, poor innocent people are dieing and getting hurt because of him trying to take over another country for no bloody reason??? Why can't the world come together and stop this!!!!
I can't stop watching and reading in horror. Iv now just seen an 18m old die on the news tonight.
What is happening in 2022??? Surely the world shouldn't be going through this now???

In my opinion the next Russian leader will be desperate to revive the Russian economy. To do that they need to make moves that are appealing to the West

A replacement leader would (in my opinion) withdraw from Ukraine under the banner of "focusing on internal affairs" but would leave forces along the border with occasional localised fighting to remind everyone they could invade if they chose to do so.

I think this new leader would be short term with several changes of leadership in short succession and several years of instability and ebbing/flowing tensions.

Because then you could potentially get a leader worse, that couple potentially actually launch a full scale military action rather than proxy battles.

Yes I agree, worse than Putin who is already talking about the financial sanctions the UK are imposing as possible engagement? Taking out the UK would stop Biden from retaliating.

The biggest problem the new leader of Russia faces is building the bridges and getting Russia back to financial stability.

Can't endorse state-sanctioned murder, but I have been mulling over the idea of Ukraine invading Russia to "save Russians from Putinism."

Lord knows the Russians need saving from Putinism.

Putin has made a massive misjudgement invading Ukraine, he will most likely be removed by his own people and exiled. His family are rumored to be in hiding in Switzerland, he will be joining them soon.
With NATO arming the Ukrainians the invasion has stalled with Russia fighting on 3 fronts they do not have the troops to win, although a lot of death and destruction will be caused.
You have to admire Zelensky as a wartime leader, very effective, he may be a comedian but has a real rapport with the people.

Funny how easy it is to assassinate Putin from the comfort of our homes thinking the war is still too far away and how problematic it becomes when UK direct action means WW3 with nukes involved.

I hate wars. All of them. I don't make make differences in between a Ukranian family being bombed and having to fled to a Yemeni one. Both are happening right now.
