To stop entering competitions because no one wins anything?

Just that really. Not even about the lottery or lucky dips or anything like that.
It’s Vodafone rewards; sky VIP, win a weekend for 2 etc etc. Has anyone ever actually won anything from random online competitions? I keep entering but never win and don’t know anyone in real life that has ever won.

About 11 years ago i randomly entered a competition on a vittel bottle of water, a few days later i got a text saying i had won ( it was a weekly prize of a Vespa moped for a year; each week there was a winner) i wasn't sure if i believed it until i got a letter in the post saying which moped shop i had to pick it up from. Only other time was a competition in i think More magazine years ago, won some toiletries. I enter loads of competitions but those are the only ever winners..

I've never won anything but I only enter competitions rarely. I've got a cousin that wins loads on Facebook. Think it's her thing lol. She wins anything from sweets, flowers to play station 5, wkends away etc. She must enter LOADS I imagine.

My friend won a trip to the Seychelles! And she doesn't enter many competitions so got very lucky!

I have won a few very small prizes, a personalised cake tin was very well received (though the £25k kitchen top prize would have been even better received ). I don't enter many competitions though so don't really expect to get much.

I don't enter competitions like I used to but have won holidays, apple electronics, cash, vouchers etc

I’ve won a vacuum cleaner and a pelvic floor toner on Mumsnet, a bottle of very expensive brandy in a competition at the local off licence, several flights and 30 Easter eggs. I’m also lucky in raffles and won a food processor, a blender, a cocktail shaker and chocolates in the last two raffles I entered. Oh and a hamper.

I've ran a lot of competitions over the years. The only ones that rarely had winners were the type that involved taking a code off the packaging and entering it into a website. The chances of the 'winner' bothering to enter the code are slim.

My sisters friend won 250 grand on a scratch card

I won a few on Instagram but I did used to enter them all of the time so say I entered 10 a day, I won one a week if that. Never anything crazy, the most expensive item was a sleepyhead.

Because of this thread I entered some competitions that were ending this week. I shit you not I won 2 tickets to the BAFTAS on Sunday!!!! Hotel, travel and make up artist all included!

Must be my lucky day! NC for this because not sure if they’ll name me somewhere as a winner.

Entered loads since I was a teen - never ever won a single thing

I won 2 tickets to see Waitress at the theatre when it opened in London. My husband has won tickets for 6 people for a night at the races with free food and drink and some betting money and we were taken there and back in a limo

Someone in the village next to me won an Omaze house this year (lucky so and so).
