Aww we saw dippy in Glasgow and my kids LOVED him. They cried when he left 😂 we may need to come and visit

A crocodile was taken back to it's natural environment this week too. Can't remember where.
And so many animals have been rescued in the storms. I'm sure humans have too which is good. 🙏🙂

My nephew’s football team have won their local league (11 teams) and he’s been head hunted by a bigger local team Smile
One of DD’s lovely friends who hasn’t had things easy has got an interview to be an emergency call handler. She’s overcome so much to get that.

There's a Lego show in Manchester this weekend.
The sun is shining (although this does seem to change every 10 seconds Grin).
There was a lovely story on the news of 2 babies (twins) being born on 22.2.22 and another baby in the same hospital being born at 2 minutes past 2 on 22.2.22.

My new boiler is being fitted tomorrow, no hot water or heating since Monday when the old one completely died on me.

I can't wait to have a shower and wash my hair properly again so this is definitely good news to me.

The sun is shining and I just collected my lottery winnings. Smile (not megabucks, just from 4 numbers so £100ish). Still nice though.

Oh, and dc has had covid and after 10 positives, got their first negative LFT today.

The sun is shining at last, it feels a little bit like spring today. Plenty of snowdrops and crocuses in the park.

Our heating has finally been fixed and I'm warming the house up after a freezing couple of weeks.

I have bed linen hung out of the washing line in the sun for the first time in about 6 months.

2yo is finally on the mend after a nasty bout of chicken pox picked up from nursery.

@BuddhaForMary I have done 2 loads today and have another one in. Its just been piling up inside, barely anything dries on the clothes horse until about 3 days go by.

I found out a few months ago by being hunted down (different surname) that I had a pension I had no idea I'd started years ago. I thought I'd better find out more about it and it was over 14000, which is completely amazing. Decided to cash it in and got the money yesterday.
I can't tell you what that means to us, it's incredible.

Also eldest dd, having been through total shit with her vile ex, has got a university interview after waiting for years to pluck up the courage and having her amazing children, to do what she has always dreamed of. Now he's out of the way she can really blossom. I'm so proud

My good friends very sick with Covid ds (10) got home this week from hospital. He has a long road ahead but is home and safe.

We moved into a new house recently and have discovered that we have a resident hedgehog. The kids are excited but my excitement is on a whole different level. I'm about to buy him/her a little house to live in. Makes the house worth every penny we paid for it 🦔
