We moved into a new house recently and have discovered that we have a resident hedgehog. The kids are excited but my excitement is on a whole different level. I'm about to buy him/her a little house to live in. Makes the house worth every penny we paid for it 🦔
Love this! We have a resident hedgehog too, I couldn't sleep last night and when I looked out the window to see why the security light was on, there he was milling around the patio doing his snuffly hedgehog thing!

My little neighbour has found it hard to ride his bike without stabilisers. He has just cracked it and has spent all of half term riding up and down the pavement with a big smile on his face.

Ah, some lovely positive stories - congratulations to everyone getting new jobs, flowers, babies and hedgehogs 🌷🦔. Not exactly newsworthy but my fence and guttering has just been fixed after the storm last Friday!

A group of YOUNG TEEN BOYS had won a load of tickets at the arcade and couldn't decide what to get so offered to my daughter Flowers props to their parents doing a beautiful job!

Good news in my world. I've been accepted to study something I've been putting off for years because I kept chickening out. Even better my work is going to fund it completely & give me complete flexibility with my work schedule. Got my acceptance letter yesterday.

My new boiler is being fitted right now, later today I hope to have hot water and central heating back on after being without since Monday morning.

I'm even looking forward to doing a bit of washing up that doesn't entail boiling three kettles! Before anyone recommends a dishwasher, I don't actually want one and I don't have anywhere to put it. Grin

It is March, which means spring is just round the corner and despite the weather being miserable it was light when I woke up this morning!!

Aww they are so adorable aren’t they. My very odd cat, lived with a hedgehog in our shed for a while, I am honestly not kidding, they were great pals!

This has really cheered me up. Nothing particularly amazing going on in our house but we are all healthy and have food in the table and looking forward to Spring. Weekend away coming up with my sister, who I rarely see, there will be walks in the Lake District and possibly swims if I’m brave enough!
