Who's lying?

Sorry I hate this way of writing but!
Person 1 and person 2 have a child together. Terrible relationship, break up after person 2 leaves person 1 for someone else. That fizzles out. They hook up.
Person 2 meets new gf. Person 1 is angry because she is left to one side again. Two years later person 2 is having another baby. Person 1 tells someone (person 3, vague friends with person 2) that they'd been sleeping with person 2 off and on for the whole two years.
Person 1 has always been resentful and petty but usually honest. They have texts to prove the affair. Could texts be fabricated? Person 2 was caught with topless photos of person 1 which he replied to saying 'nice'. I know who I believe.

Who's lying?

OP posts:
Imissmoominmama · 16/02/2022 22:39

Person 2.

Stichintime · 16/02/2022 22:40

No idea, couldn't follow this, sorry.

RewildingAmbridge · 16/02/2022 22:40

He is

Cissyandflora · 16/02/2022 22:41

Too complicated. Can you draw a diagram?

Momicrone · 16/02/2022 22:41

That is so confusing

TimeForTeaAndG · 16/02/2022 22:43

Are you the new gf, person 1, person 3?

Just give them all names or something.

Burnt0utMum · 16/02/2022 22:43

Person 2 is lying

BurntO · 16/02/2022 22:44

Uh person 2 is a shit bag and I wouldn’t trust a thing they say. Person 1 has little self respect. That aside I wouldn’t get involved…since you want to keep your op so neutral I don’t know what else to say

SmellyOldOwls · 16/02/2022 22:45

Hard to follow but sounds like your boyfriend is still shagging his ex, LTB.

TheBareTree · 16/02/2022 22:45

Person 2 is lying. How would person 1 fabricate texts?

StrongCoffeAvalanche · 16/02/2022 22:47

It seems like the obvious answer is along the lines of 'no shit Sherlock, person 2 is a liar and a cheat'

I'm not trying to be mean I promise, I just don't see how anyone could post anything else after the info you've given xx

maddening · 16/02/2022 22:47

Person 2 is known for not being able to keep his dick to himself, weighing it up person 2 is more likely to a) shag around, b) lie

Momicrone · 16/02/2022 22:48

Prince andrew?

FirstTimeSecondTime · 16/02/2022 22:48

Are the texts over a long period of time?
Are you the new gf?
I wouldn’t trust person 2

Rodion · 16/02/2022 22:48

No idea if you have a bias that changes things, but from what you've presented person 2 sounds like bad news and person 1 sounds likes like someone who has very low standards. I'd guess that person 2 is lying.

CareBear50 · 16/02/2022 22:49

Can't follow this at all. Wish OPS would just use fake names

FantasticFebruary · 16/02/2022 22:49

Sorry, my brain fog can no longer cope with this kind of stuff.

Who are you in this scenario? Ex partner he cheated on or new partner & not sure whether to believe his ex or not?

Frankly, either way you should probably cut him loose, he sounds untrustworthy!!

twominutesmore · 16/02/2022 22:52

You say person 1 is usually honest so you have answered your own question.

Your bf is still shagging his ex.

Momicrone · 16/02/2022 22:52

I haven't got a scoobies

1FootInTheRave · 16/02/2022 22:54

2 obvs.

DiddyHeck · 16/02/2022 22:55

Can you name them Bob and Barbara and start again?

whysorude · 16/02/2022 22:56

Would be much easier to follow with fake names.

tearinghairout · 16/02/2022 22:57

Yes. Give them names please. I couldn't follow it.

DickMabutt73962 · 16/02/2022 23:01

I've seen nothing in the OP that person 2 has even said to decide whether or not it's a lie. Just that person 1 has texts. Badly written.

Merryoldgoat · 16/02/2022 23:17

I can’t see where anyone has been accused of lying…

How something do short can be so confusing is ludicrous
