To think this burns more calories than running?

I got a mini trampoline a few weeks ago as I wanted something I could do to move my back while watching tv.
I've had lower back pain on and off for a few years and it's worse when sitting for too long.
I've been running on it for about 20-30 mins a day (not every day) and i've lost 3 lbs this week and 9 since I got it.

I hate gyms and struggle to stay motivated unless i'm exercising outside but running on this feels like i'm burning way more calories, has anyone else had good results using one?

I love Bouncefit classes...don't be put off by the pink lycra, the attendees are mostly mums and the instructors really welcoming.

Following a serious break and dislocation to my leg and ankle, one of the exercises that hospital physio had me doing was bouncing, running, hopping on one leg at a time on the trampoline, they said it was low impact so a good way to strengthen bones and joints, strengthen and stretch ligaments and tendons without string them.
I was exhausted after each trampoline session.
