Posting for traffic as we have a household full of Covid and in dire need of distraction. What has been the best movie you and your 10+ children have enjoyed recently?

Encanto is beautiful. Uncle Buck, hilarious.

Wetcappuccino · 01/01/2022 16:47

Ron’s Gone Wrong - Disney
Bill - IPlayer
Call of the Wild
Mitchell’s vs The Machines - Netflix

SciFiStirFry · 01/01/2022 16:48

Enders Game. Great story, great actors ⭐️

Echobelly · 01/01/2022 16:48

Second Mitchells vs the Machines - essential viewing for anyone with teens and tweens!
Bill is also good for that ages group, and Encanto.

MintMe · 01/01/2022 16:53

My DS was absolutely transfixed by Annie yesterday (the original)

Ditto Labrynth and Goonies - all pretty old school though...

lastandfurious · 01/01/2022 16:56

Recent favourites in our house are the Sonic movie and Into the Spiderverse. I also make my kids watch all the 80s/90s classics-Overboard went down well recently, Indiana Jones films, The Goonies, Flash Gordon, Flight of the Navigator etc

Third it. Watched it myself and loved it

Ukholidaysaregreat · 01/01/2022 17:03

I watched Elf this Christmas and found it really funny! Liked Gremilns too. Super hero stuff like Marvel?

SocksAndTheCity · 01/01/2022 17:03

Ron's Gone Wrong and Cruella (both Disney)

Needcoffeecoffeecoffee · 01/01/2022 17:03

Will add to the Mitchell and the machines love
We all enjoyed Ron's gone wrong
Indiana jones, goonies, gremlins and Ghostbusters

Talipesmum · 01/01/2022 17:05

Shang Chi and the legend of the ten rings was v good (Disney plus). And we’re planning to watch Jungle Cruise shortly. Second the other suggestions incl Ron’s gone wrong, and Mitchells vs the machines.

ChirpyChirp · 01/01/2022 17:05

Another vote for Ron's Gone Wrong, The Mitchells Vs The Machines and Encanto. All brilliant.

LadyLooLaa · 01/01/2022 17:07

I’ve just introduced my two to Indiana Jones. They loved them (as do I! Win!!)

Moolia · 01/01/2022 17:08

Mine loved Legally Blonde and Notting Hill recently.

londonrach · 01/01/2022 17:10

My daughter aged 5 not into films but a dog's journey was on over Xmas.... she loved it as did we!

rrhuth · 01/01/2022 17:10

Think it is a twelve but 'what we did on our holiday' is good (warning: death theme)

Edinvillian · 01/01/2022 17:11

Red Notice is fab. It's a 12 but I watched it with my 9 year old and it was fine.

flashy44 · 01/01/2022 17:18

Ferdinand today

Flobbertybillop · 01/01/2022 17:19

Free guy
Red notice
Cruella

Needhelp101 · 01/01/2022 17:21

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is a perfect family film and so funny.
Legally Blonde, because it's a funny, rompy feminist classic!

OnTheBenchOfDoom · 01/01/2022 17:21

Best to tell us where you can watch films, so do you have Prime or Disney+? I think most people have Netflix.

If you do have Disney+ then Free Guy is awesome, also Encanto. Red Notice if Netflix.

ReginaaPhalange · 01/01/2022 17:22

Ghostbusters (the original) and ET went down a hit with DSD. As did sonic movie too! Jim Carey is great in his role (as always)!

SaffyWall · 01/01/2022 17:22

Into the Spiderverse
Free Guy
Crocodile Dundee
Cool Runnings
Big

ReginaaPhalange · 01/01/2022 17:22

Also Coco - such an under rated movie! It's brilliant! In fact - I'm gunna watch that tonight! I love the soundtrack

StrangerThanSpring · 01/01/2022 17:23

We watched Cruella today and it was very good.
