Posting for traffic as we have a household full of Covid and in dire need of distraction. What has been the best movie you and your 10+ children have enjoyed recently?

Bagelsandbrie · 01/01/2022 17:24

Weirdly enough- lovehard on Netflix! Dh, dd aged 18 and I sat down to watch it and Ds aged 9 couldn’t sleep so ended up watching it with us and we all laughed so much! Really lovely story. I can’t remember what certificate it is but there’s nothing offensive in it.

nodogz · 01/01/2022 17:30

Hook (if it's still on Netflix) - my 8 year old loved it and he's not a fan of sitting down to watch a film

Hercules /George of the jungle on Disney+ are also very, very entertaining and have aged well

If they scare easy, I also liked monster house although it starts genuinely scary but ends in uplifting way and Jaws for the scares and laugh out loud experience

Doggosaurus · 01/01/2022 17:32

Inside Out is lovely.

insertsomethingwitty · 01/01/2022 17:32

High School Musical? Grin

ChocolateCakeYum · 01/01/2022 17:35

Paddington 2

Ds has always loved the 1st movie but resisted watching the 2nd in case it wasn’t as good. Today he decided to brave it and loved every second. It was great.

enjoyingscience · 01/01/2022 17:35

Things that my 7&13 DSs have loved recently

Free guy
Into the spiderverse
School of rock
Michells vs the machines
All Indiana Jones
Jumanji(s)
The lost island (or anything with the rock in...)
Detective pikachu
Sonic movie
The goonies

Harry Potters always worth a rewatch too!

Wejustdontknow · 01/01/2022 17:37

I wouldn’t recommend encanto for 10+, I enjoyed it but my boys wouldn’t sit and watch it as found it boring, more for younger viewers. Definitely free guy on Disney+, ready player one and another vote for mitchels vs machines

Rodion · 01/01/2022 17:41
