Revenge ...aibu?

Someone who I was friends with for a very very long time did something awful to me and she turned a lot of people against me with her lies.
Split up my relationship
Now she is driving around without declaring a medical condition (that would mean she lost her licence )
I'm always tempted to get my own back (so to speak ) but I never know wether to let karma do it's thing.
What would you do?
She started a smear campaign against me ,reported me to the police (the list goes on)
It eats me up even tho it was 3 years ago.

I'm happy now with a new partner and have a good life
Good job etc
But it still eats me up she got away with her lies and people believed her

Aibu here ?

I guess it depends what the condition is and does it make her a danger to other road users? If it does then I would report.

It's her vision.
Loss of side vision
Glaucoma in both eyes which resulted in peripheral vision loss.

Honestly this isn't about revenge though, if she is driving with a condition that's genuinely so bad she would be banned, you have a duty of care to report it.

I'd normally say don't stoop to their level but in this case I would report before she kills someone. It's not about revenge as much as reporting a selfish fucker who shouldn't be on the roads.

Report- but not as revenge, but because she may be putting others at risk.

Maybe because they aren't aware she drives

Oh come on this isn't about revenge at all. How can you know someone is driving around risking crashing or hitting someone and do nothing about it?! The DVLA and medical peiple don't just pull lists of conditions that make you an unsafe driver out of a hat...she could kill someone! Report her.

I’d 100% report her for a safety reason rather than as revenge

Don’t look at it as revenge. It’s a safety issue, she could kill someone and that would destroy her life more than losing her license.

I don’t see why we should just accept your word that she has a vendetta against you.

Especially when you are the one gunning for her in ‘revenge’.

Maybe people believe her because you deserved to be reported to the police?

Who knows, report her or don’t, but I doubt it will make any difference to those who believe her over you, or you over her.

Report her before she injures or kills someone. That’s not revenge. Also it could be her optician reporting people with eye issues that shouldn’t drive.

I wouldn't do it for revenge, but if she's putting herself and other road users at risk I would report. It's better that than her being in an accident and killing a family by ploughing into them.

REPORT HER.
You'd never get over it if she killed someone and you'd not said anything to the dvla about her driving. Then she really would be in your head forever ruining the rest of your life.

Just for the fact that she is a danger to other drivers, nothing to do with revenge in my eyes.
