I don't like the PM but this really easy nothing to do with him. It was entirely on Shaun Bailey who had since resigned his senior role in the London Assembly.

Interesting that none of them were afraid of catching covid. And this was before vaccines! And then the next day telling us to stay at home so we don't catch covid and die.

Why were they not afraid of catching it, but telling us we should be?

This takes the absolute fucking piss. At one point I was only aloud outside my house once per day, and wishing a reasonable distance from home without any other people from my household. And I fucking adhered to it. These twats really do believe it's one rule for us dummies and another rule for them.

2020 was full of obnoxious young people having parties every other weekend and plastering it all over their social media.

Some of the scenes in Manchester were appalling.

I think the point is that there is and was a culture throughout the higher ranks of the Conservative party that the rules simply don't apply to them, and that they were behaving like this whilst telling us we couldn't see our dying relatives. And that attitude comes straight from the top.

On a tangent, does anyone else read "de Pfeffel' as 'de Piffle".

No clue how it's actually pronounced, but Piffle feels fitting.

It’s not going to finish Boris off because other than them being Conservatives, it’s got nothing to do with him. And I say that as someone who thinks he’s absolutely useless and should resign over the other stuff.
