Is it weird to frequently change your WhatsApp profile pictures

Would like to see what the general public think to a person (a married woman in mid 30’s) changing her WhatApp profile picture as a minimum once a week , some weeks every other day, some days even twice a day to herself , sometimes with husband sometimes with kids ….

I don’t know anyone else who does this , what does this tendency mean ?

I wouldn’t think anything

springiscoming12 · 24/11/2021 19:14

I thunk it just means that they like to change their picture on WhatsApp 🤷🏽‍♀️

Chakraleaf · 24/11/2021 19:14

Oh, you described me 😁

TwinklyBranch · 24/11/2021 19:15

I doubt I'd even notice if someone did this, let alone care!

AgedVellum · 24/11/2021 19:15

She must spend an awful lot of time on WhatsApp?

furbabymama87 · 24/11/2021 19:16

I don't think it means anything.

Iamanicepersonreally · 24/11/2021 19:16

I don't think it means anything

Justheretoaskaquestion91 · 24/11/2021 19:16

I think it’s narcissistic and bizarre, personally. Would either think the person was very, very insecure or really full of themselves!

Minfilia · 24/11/2021 19:17

Haven’t changed mine in seven years so you’re probably asking the wrong person.

BurscoughBooths · 24/11/2021 19:17

I don’t have a picture at all on WhatsApp. Either way, it’s fine.
I don’t notice other people’s pictures

TheCanyon · 24/11/2021 19:18

I honestly don't even notice people's pictures. Changing it a shit load is a bit weird though, but...

My dd asked me the other day why I have the photo I do on mine, it was taken when she was a baby, she's as old as whatsapp too Grin

jendifer · 24/11/2021 19:18

I’d assume she was bored if I knew she was doing it, but I doubt I would actually notice

DoloresOnTheDottedLine · 24/11/2021 19:19

I do this….

It means I’ve taken a new picture I like, generally of my child or pet.

Is it any different to uploading pics to Instagram or FB?

RedHot22 · 24/11/2021 19:19

It means they possibly have body dysmorphia and are possibly having and affair with your husband.
She is likely to be having fish and chips for tea, although feels guilty as she should be on a diet. She likes changing her WA pic, frequently.

Thedogscollar · 24/11/2021 19:20

I honestly wouldn't give it a thought.

CouldThisReallyBe · 24/11/2021 19:21

Why does it have to mean anything? And what's it got to do with you?

But just to please your curiosity...my sister does this. She has no other SM and gets bored with her pic so changes it regularly.

EileenGC · 24/11/2021 19:24

I wouldn’t think anything about that particular person, but isn’t this what WhatsApp stories are for? All these children and pet photos people like to share.

Do people do this on Facebook too? Change their profile pic instead of uploading them ‘normal’ or adding to their stories?

Twattergy · 24/11/2021 19:25

Too much time on their hands?

CSJobseeker · 24/11/2021 19:27

If I noticed I'd think they have way too much time on their hands.

But in reality, i wouldnt notice. I dont spend my time looking at people's whatsapp pictures.

SilverBirchWithout · 24/11/2021 19:28

I didn’t even know people had pics on WhatsApp. Everyday is a school day.

TheCreamCaker · 24/11/2021 19:28

My eldest son (40) changes his about every week.

MichelleScarn · 24/11/2021 19:28

I wouldn't notice, do you scrutinise everyone on your WhatsApp lists photo?

TheCreamCaker · 24/11/2021 19:29

RedHot22 Grin Grin

Peaplant20 · 24/11/2021 19:29

I think it’s weirder to think it’s weird 😂

HumbugWhale · 24/11/2021 19:30

I have started to update mine more regularly since I noticed mid-June that I still had a photo of the Christmas tree on there! Not several times a weeks or day but maybe every couple of months.
