Inspired by another thread, I’m going to do my nails tomorrow but not sure what to go for… feels just a bit too soon for the red & sparkly, but summer pastels are long gone.

Always have an extra coat of glitter!

Dark navy with holographic top coat. Beige with blue flower transfer from Amazon on one finger.

K1233 - your hands look younger than mine but our nail shapes are remarkably similar!

These are mine. I always do them myself as I stopped biting them after 50yrs and it's a hobby and a novelty 😁

Mine are a little sloppy, but I'll straighten them up once they're fully dry.

I’m sure you’re all lovely and clean and that your nails look great, but I can’t help but find other people’s fingers and nails nauseating. 🤭

I have mine done at the salon, the brand my nail tech uses is GelBottle Inc.

@twilightcafe your nails are lovely. How do you use the transfers? I have a pack and can't get them on without smudging my nails

These are mine for another 2 weeks.
It's The Gel Bottle, BIAB (to strengthen) in "teddy" and the tips are "flirting again"

I just had mine filed down short, as they were getting too long. I like dark colours when they’re so short, but they do grow super fast.

Some of these are very pretty but I never knew there were different nail colours for different seasons!

I’m currently sporting a dark red/burgundy colour. Going to change next week and considering either grey or navy…

Thank you!
I used water transfers, which you soak in water for 10-15 seconds, lift off with tweezers, then apply to the nail. You can then smooth the transfer with an orange stick or something similar.
Slightly fiddly but much easier than me trying to attempt nail art!

I'm so jealous. I'm a nurse so no lovely long gel finger nails for me. But I do love having my toe nails done and will definitely take some Autumn inspiration from you all.

Clear base coat
Bright colour on each nail x2
When totally dry tape your design
Black over whole nail & tape
Remove tape carefully whilst black is still wet
Clear diamond topcoat

I do them over a couple of days to make sure all the layers are properly dry between applications and only one hand at a time. It's a little fiddly applying the tape but worth it for the results.

Not to everyone’s taste I’m sure but I love them
