Inspired by another thread, I’m going to do my nails tomorrow but not sure what to go for… feels just a bit too soon for the red & sparkly, but summer pastels are long gone.

I always struggle with autumn nails because I just love light, summery colours so much (my toes stay white all year round ha!)

Ohhh I bought myself a gel nail kit and these are my first and second attempts. I've always bitten my nails, but lately I've managed to stop so got this as a 'well done' present to myself I'm quite pleased with the results having never done to before.

I love neat shorter nails with brighter or toning colours. Not a fan of the claws or anything really long.

I'm getting mine done soon. I love burgundy or purple in November.

I very rarely do my nails but my dc wanted to paint them for me. They look a bit rubbish now because I've been to work today though!

So why enter in the first place? The thread title was hardly ambiguous.

My autumn nails! I wanted a dark brown as well but couldn’t find a cheap one I liked.

It's an iridescent purple called nebula - looks pale blue but then catches the light 👌
