To think the weather couldn't be any worse for Halloween tonight

I'm in the North West and we have torrential rain and wind at the moment. It's not forecast to stop raining until tomorrow lunchtime and we now have a weather warning in place.
Feel a bit bad for the kids but they are going to be drowned rats and freezing within 20mins going out trick or treating.

Anyone else having bad weather tonight?

It was god awful here this morning (Lincolnshire) but it's fine now! Windy, but blue sky and no rain. Thank goodness.

Still raining and blowy here. I'm assuming most children will be staying home and having some games and sweets there.

It's become very grabby and cheeky fucker round here anyway on the part of some of the parents, spoiling it for everyone else. Such a shame.

It's too windy for the pumpkins on the doorstep to stay lit!

It was meant to be dry in Hampshire but it's just started spitting. DD has packed an umbrella for trick or treating.

It was biblical this morning but fine now (SE).

We've been lucky in the Midlands yesterday and today. It's been torrential through the night then brightened up in time for our outdoor plans both days.

Windy but no clouds. Rain all morning but then sun. Using battery candles in the jack o lanterns just in case.

It's perfect here- autumn leaves are swirling around the ground.

It was torrential this morning and I was delighted because that would hopefully have meant no trick or treaters and more to the point, no idiots letting off fireworks.

It’s now brightened up again though.

Awful weekend here.. 3 day festival had 1 dry day!! Downpour all morning, but OK ish now. Nw too

I'm in south Staffordshire and it hammered down all morning. Dry now but very windy.

It's awful. I've just tried to back out of a spooky ghost trail in the woods thing at a local stately home but everyone else is "yaay it's only a bit or rain"

I hope it means less knocking this evening, fingers crossed.

I'm in the Lakes and it is absolutely vile out. There was a tornado in Skem apparently so it looks like most of the north west is a washout.

Cold and windy, yes. Can't ever remember it raining much.
