To think the weather couldn't be any worse for Halloween tonight

I'm in the North West and we have torrential rain and wind at the moment. It's not forecast to stop raining until tomorrow lunchtime and we now have a weather warning in place.
Feel a bit bad for the kids but they are going to be drowned rats and freezing within 20mins going out trick or treating.

Anyone else having bad weather tonight?

Pouring down ceaselessly here in Stockport! No trick or treaters out and about, but maybe will change if the rain stops.

It was torrential this morning, then came nice for a few hours, now it's torrential again.

Fortunately I'd decided to sack it off this year. Little ones are too young to know and the older ones are getting too old for it.

Derbyshire weather is shite. DD is out with her DF while I answer the door to all the trick or treaters . Infact the theme of the evening seems to be Dad's shepherding their offspring around the town, so I think we women have pulled a blinder tonight

I just had to pop out in the car and the number of young teens in all-black costumes on unlit, no pavement country lanes was scary. I was deliberately going extra slowly but there so little road sense out there

It’s dry here and not windy. There are loads of people out.

🎃👻 North west here, it's cold and windy with occasional downpours. I've had a fair few kids round, not the usual hundreds. I'm going to have so many sweeties left at this rate 😭

We played trick or treat at all the doors in the house instead. 5yo loved it 😆
We have had 2 very brave groups of trick or treaters 🥶

Yes it's bloody terrible, lots not bothering which means the DCs heading out are getting a bumper haul 😁
