Watching Keir Stammer on Marr this morning scrambling to answer whether or not it is transphobic to say “only women have a cervix” was the final nail in the coffin for me this morning with Labour. In the aftermath of The Lancet calling women, “bodies with vaginas”, I think I’ve finally figured out that the current belief system is that transwomen are women, but women who were observed female at birth are “bodies with vaginas”. Clearly Labour aren’t in need of the votes of bodies with vaginas, brains and a spine.

I can't disagree with any of you who've quoted my posted about hard hat, privilege etc. I really can't.

I hate the current situation, hate the word 'woman' being erased, hate compelled speech, hate many intelligent left leaning feminists somehow falling for this bullshit which centres men. As always

you know I think a huge HUGE number of people are truly ignorant about biology. They actually do believe you can change sex. They dont know how, if you properly hard questioned them about it, as they havent thought about it that deeply, nor do they understand the science of it. And the young, well theyve had junk science thrown at them, by schools and by the internet, and by the media.

So Im not surprised to see idiots believing that transmen are actually men. Or thats transwomen, whove had surgery, really do have a cervix. And the transwomen, well they really dont know sweet FA about womens bodies and what womens bodies can do and are designed to do - they see 'vagina = tube for men to have sex with' and 'cervix' the end bit of that tube.
And women are pretty ignorant too.

The question is, why do men want to be women? It's very strange.
I was at a seminar once where a male psychologist said that maybe part of the problem between the sexes is that men have nothing else going for them except that they aren't women.

There has been a recent rush by TRA's to change the narrative to 'both sides are as bad as each other'. It's nonsense. It's an attempt to justify some of the horrific behaviour aimed at women for the horrific crime of saying sex is immutable.

The person who aggressively screamed 'witch' repeatedly in the face of a woman peacefully protesting in front of the Scottish Parliament has no female equivalent.

There are no women making gun threats towards a whole nation of women online (while being supported by their University for doing do).

Women are not deplatforming, disrupting meetings, doxxing, getting people fired from employment and sending death and rape threats.

Women are ribboning, chalking slates, leafleting, signing petitions, writing to their elected representatives, fundraising and discussing issues on a heavily moderated board.

Screw the women who don't recognize themselves as "cervix havers" because English isn't their first language, or because they haven't be educated about their own bodies or they don't have a cervix anymore ehh.

A friend has started referring to "XX people" and "XY people". She reckons that now that the XY people can insist they're female, even if still attached to a penis and testicles, we have to go to a more fundamental level to preserve the female identity.

And she wants to start a campaign of relabelling toilets, changing rooms etc XX and XY.

I'm getting heartily sick of it and am tempted to join her.

Presumably the traditional Ladies and Gentlemen is now going to be changed to People With Vaginas and Gentlemen. If we carry this to its logical conclusion, public toilets will be labelled People With Vaginas and Gents. It’s ridiculous and misogynistic. I am a woman or lady not a Person With a Vagina.

I just don't understand why he is pandering to the tiny tiny tiny percentage of the population who are TRAs while actual women are being brutalised and murdered everyday by (usually) men - surely that should be a more pressing issue. It's so completely baffling why the Labour Party are purposefully trying to lose women's votes to appease a small minority. Is Keir Starmer just a Tory plant who is destroying the credibility of Labour from within?

It is the inevitable consequence of saying trans women are women, trans men are men, etc. Once you profess to believing that, you have to follow through and that means that you have to say you believe some men have a cervix and men can get pregnant, etc. Politicians need to think through the consequences of these things at the outset to avoid making themselves look foolish later, but it's too late for most of them now. They can't backtrack now for fear of being labelled transphobic, so they are going to have to find another way out of the mess they have got themselves into and could easily have avoided.
