Penis Tattoos?

Had a very strange dream last night that DH had got two large ivy leaves tattooed on him. One of my colleagues was doing the tattooing (someone I know through work rather than actually work with). It made me wonder, is this something you've ever come across (excuse the wording) or are they not actually a thing? (very disturbed by my dream)
YABU - you total weirdo, why did you dream that - of course they're a thing
YANBU - you total weirdo dreaming that, they are definitely not a thing

Ouch.

I've known men who have had tattoos there.

Yes I knew a man who had 'welcome' on his. He regularly got it out in the pub to show to people.

I once dated a tattoo artist who was inked from head to toe - literally- the only exceptions were his face and his penis!
I think getting a tattoo there is quite rare and also getting it should be pretty painful which might put off a lot of men. I would find a penis tattoo also very unattractive and I doubt I’m the only one.

The tattoo artist I got a couple of my tattoos from regularly tattoos penises!

2. presumably the penis needs to be hard in order to tattoo it, so does the tattooee have to keep themselves engorged throughout?

Tattoos there are definitely a thing- but piercings there freak me out more. Major ICK

I have one small tattoo. The tattooist told me he had done one penis tattoo where the guy had his girlfriend’s name tattooed on previously but now had a new girlfriend so wanted the name covered. Tattooist said he covered the letters with stars.

When DS was about 8 and in hospital with suspected appendicitis the tv in his room was stuck on one channel - late at night struggling to sleep I turned it on and there was a programme on where they were "fixing" peoples ill thought out tattoos - it was strangely compelling to watch one chap had I think an ex's name on his penis and they covered it up by tattooing a filled in long cross shape

• certainly took my mind off DS being poorly (sane DS who woke up whilst I was watching it and was fascinated that people had tattoos there )

I'd imagine if she was called Arabella or Samantha, rather than Tracy he wouldn't be an ex...

A man who had joystick tattooed down there I was 19 when I heard of this through the dirty ladys at work (they were proud if there nickname being on there table was an education)
