The other day I posted asking for advice about how to revamp my bathroom in my first home (first pic) and I received some really helpful comments, alongside the typical Mumsnet ones that are a) bitchy and b) unhelpful 😁

But, here is the end result! We spent no more than £150 and did it all ourselves! Yay :-)

Looks great! Can I ask what you changed? My bathroom is in desperate need of a revamp.

JackieCollinshasnoauthority · 28/08/2021 17:11

Getting rid of the light above the mirror is the biggest improvement. Those things remind me of hospitals.

Looks lovely. Have you ever painted before?

dontstealmymagnolias · 28/08/2021 17:11

That's lovely OP! Do you have a before pic?

firsthome2333 · 28/08/2021 17:12

Thanks all! The before pic is the first one! I'll attach another xx

  • rid of bath mats

That looks lovely! What have you done - removed mirror light, painted the walls, towel rail, sink unit?

MrsRobbieHart · 28/08/2021 17:15

What were the bitchy and unhelpful comments on the first thread? Confused

MagnoliaBeige · 28/08/2021 17:15

Looks lovely. Just goes to show that you don't need a huge budget to make a vast improvement. I could do to get off my backside and freshen my bathroom up!
