I watched Jesy's program on the BBC about her body image and really felt for her and was impressed with the understanding that her Little Mix bandmates had for her with regard to the clothes they wore and the things they restricted themselves doing because of her mental health and body image.The pic posted is from Jesy's Instagram. I'm not here to criticise what she's wearing - couldn't care less. But she's left her bandmates and all of a sudden everything is absolutely fine. Is she being exploited? Is it wrong to think maybe her issues weren't half as bad as she made out?

She doesn’t seem to own any actual tops, if you looked at her Instagram (before she deleted everything) she’s only ever in crop tops or bras. She had a whole documentary talking about how unrealistic beauty expectations took a massive toll on her mental health but she’s had a load of fillers put in her face and posts heavily filtered pics almost daily, so she’s now perpetuating the same unrealistic beauty standards herself.

To be honest I think she just didn’t want to be in Little Mix any more and the I need to step away from the limelight thing was just a handy excuse. God knows she didn’t step away from social media and she started recording her own stuff a few weeks later…

I don’t like how cruel she always was in video clips to Leigh Anne specifically, then there’s the black fishing . .

I’m not so sure on her.

The blackfishing is offensive, she's also collaborating with Nicky Minaj who supports a sexual predator. Hope she flops.

I did wonder about it since she launched a solo career. Maybe the pressure of being in a group with other women had an impact, rather than the fame itself.
I know she was incredibly insecure about her appearance. I think she looks great. It's hard to relate when you're not in her shoes and I wouldn't post half the pictures she does if I wasn't confident.

Money money money. Somehow all the demons disappear where money or publicity is involved.

A lot of the behind the scenes footage I've seen ( theesliads on YOu Tube) shows her being kind of the sensible one , who rolls her eyes & gets visibly irritated while the others are messing around. That probably meant she didn't feel as much of a bond as they protested they all had and/or she had little in common with them. It happens.

Totally fine that she wanted to leave the band but blaming mental health was wrong.
There is no way she would be able to parade around now in hardly any clothes, and go solo when all the scrutiny is on you alone, if she was suffering the way she said. I think the bikini thing is the main thing that's annoyed people because she said she didn't enjoy wearing skimpy clothes for the band videos yet the stuff she's wearing now is even less skimpy! I wish her well but I don't think she has much public support

She really shouldn't be working with Nicki Minaj.
