If you base your opinion solely off that evidence then he does sound like a twat. But a twat who has been let down repeatedly and treated badly. If you (as in, multiple random people) treat someone like shit, eventually they will return the favour.

YABU, the cap might fit. I know women who play men and rinse them, if they can. I know a woman with children who is taking advantage of a man with slight LD's. I know another who has taken advantage of a man's poor mental health to get what she can. She recently got back in touch with him when she found out that he was selling his house, she's had him off to the tune of about £4k, he thought that he was moving in with her.
