My NI number starts with my initials. So I assumed everyone’s did. Just found out it’s a weird coincidence.
What random thing have you recently discovered too?!

OP posts:
CHISistoast · 19/07/2021 20:24

Erm mine doesn't.

AuntieMarys · 19/07/2021 20:25

Mine doesn't either 😀

NatMoz · 19/07/2021 20:25

Nor does mine!!!!

MargeGoesBowling · 19/07/2021 20:26

Why is nobody reading what the OP actually said?

ItPearl · 19/07/2021 20:27

Wow that was a coincidence. Not surprised that you thought that though!

PheasantsNest · 19/07/2021 20:27

Mine is my Dad's initials. My children have the same initials reversed.

DontBiteTheBoobThatFeedsYou · 19/07/2021 20:27

Mine doesn't start with mine or my family members initials.

MyCatHatesEverybody · 19/07/2021 20:28

I recently discovered that the reading comprehension skills on this thread appear to be somewhat lacking Grin

EnjoyingTheSilence · 19/07/2021 20:28

Just what I was going to say

LadyJaye · 19/07/2021 20:28

I'm 42.

I've only just found out my CHI number as a result of being called up for my covid vaccination.

Faranth · 19/07/2021 20:28

My NI number is one digit and letter different to my DBs! So mine would be AA111111A his is AA111112B.
When his came through I figured it was a normal thing, but apparently not, complete coincidence!

xyzandabc · 19/07/2021 20:28

Mine and my brother's are only 2 digits different. I.e mine is xxxxxxxx2A, his is xxxxxxxx3B. Not twins, several years between us.

Ginger1982 · 19/07/2021 20:28

People need to read!!!

AllThatFancyPaintsAsFair · 19/07/2021 20:29

I'm interested in how you found out that it was a coincidence Grin

xyzandabc · 19/07/2021 20:29

Snap!
MistySkiesAfterRain · 19/07/2021 20:29

My DBs NI number is one digit different.

FlowersinJune · 19/07/2021 20:30

@Faranth I was about to say I have the same thing with my DSis. Except the difference is the letter at the end. Again I think we presumed it was like that because we were siblings.

rosy71 · 19/07/2021 20:30

Mine is almost exactly the same as dp's, which is really weird.

TSSDNCOP · 19/07/2021 20:30

Mine does too. I'm 50 and a half is it an age thing?

Faranth · 19/07/2021 20:30

@xyzandabc ah ha! Now I'm wondering if that is normal, and the other people I spoke to were the odd ones?!

(Several years between me and DB too)

summersflowers · 19/07/2021 20:31

@Ginger1982

People need to read!!!
It is a MN thing.

Start a post with ‘DS is 3’ and I promise that one of the first responses will be ‘how old is he?’ Grin

lazylinguist · 19/07/2021 20:31

Grin at so many posters' inability to read!

JungleBeats · 19/07/2021 20:31

Can people not read ?

OP I found out via Tick Tock of all things that you shove the plastic parts of a toilet block toilet cleaner up inside the rim and not over the top of it.

PheasantsNest · 19/07/2021 20:32

They allocated every child a NI number in a certain year. That's why some siblings have numbers very close together.

trevthecat · 19/07/2021 20:32

Mine and my sisters are just one digit different too!
