Neighbours stealing my takeaway

Been waiting ages for a Chinese delivery and when it didn't arrive, I rang but they said it had been delivered.
When I said no it hadn't, they got the delivery person to confirm that it had - delivered to a woman- me.
I asked for a description and now realise it was my neighbour!
I went round to get it back and the lights are all off but... the windows are all open and I can smell MY sweet and sour chicken through the window!
AIBU to keep banging on the door? I am hungry!

Did you give the right address to takeaway? If so I would keep ringing them and asking for my order. They didn't fulfill their end of the sale which was to deliver it to your address.

And in covid times, do you really want the food from your neighbour now?

In future just pay the delivery person and not over the phone. Neighbour will be less inclined to steal it I would imagine!

Well she will have eaten it by now won't she? Don't use that takeaway again their delivery driver is useless for getting the wrong house. How well do you know the neighbour? Can you ask her tomorrow if she enjoyed eating your supper? Is she likely to squirm or is she the brazen type?
