The size of their houses, free time to go to parties and sex is a bit unrealistic but I don't care! binge watched through all the series and canywait for more. The let down is good too but in a different way

I second the recommendation for The Letdown, also really good! I related to it a lot more than Workin Moms which is a bit more wish-fullfilmenty. I'd love to have that lifestyle and a bunch of friends close by.

Yes, the houses are lovely! Isn’t it interesting that you never see people cleaning or scrubbing Loos etc in these shows. !!😅

I've been binge watching the latest series after waiting for what seemed like a lifetime.

Argh I really want to like working moms but the main characters mouth annoys me so much that I can't keep going with it! Seems really popular though!

I started it, liked it for a bit, and then slowly stopped appreciating it (for no real reason) and never turned it on again.

Yes, it's currently my go to pre-bedtime show, complete nonsense but funny and I love the strong / wacky female characters. I like that they aren't really obsessed with their kids, like their jobs, enjoy sex etc. Also, I like the fact that the characters are attractive looking (to be expected on TV) but not ridiculously model perfect, like a lot of American TV shows.

I've just finished bingeing and really liked it.

I didn't find it that funny. Prefer Motherland.

I enjoyed it. I also recommend The Letdown, Breeders and Motherland as they are similar.

You stop noticing the mouth when you get into it, honestly! Loved this show and sad I've watched them all, just got better and better.

Yep, I've really enjoyed workin moms, I haven't much liked the main character in the latest series, but I think that's the point!

If you like this you might like good girls, its silly escapism but fun. I adore Retta, she's so funny and love they've cast an overweight actor but her weight isn't a plot point or joke. Us fatties aren't always the rebel Wilsons of life!

Yes, the mouth is quite something 🤣. I still think the actress (can't remember her name, sorry) is very attractive though and it makes her face more interesting. Didn't she write the show? And I think is playing opposite her IRL husband.

So sad she felt she needed to alter her lips, they were beautiful before, thin but somehow thin lips are not acceptable these days.

I liked the earlier seasons of working moms but every season has got worse. The latest was absolutely dreadful.

Her lips have always been like that, iirc she was bullied a lot in school about them too.
