Make it a cross between football and tennis (Wimbledon). The aim of the game is to get as many footballs over the net to the opponent's side as possible. Rules and scoring of tennis applies e.g. faults and double faults, 40-15 etc :D

I've been suggesting added time multi ball for years. Or for every 5 minutes that goes past with out a goal, you lose a player.

Or what about the goalies can play but no one can go in the little box by the goal.

But also wash the pan and utensils up at the end.

I was thinking this myself. All that running around, dribbling, tackling, getting all tired, not to mention mucky...and all for it to be decided by a few kicks at the end. There has to be a better way. Why don't they just make it 90 minutes of penalties? Best of 1451, or the first to reach 875 goals? Or another way: Whenever they look back on the career of some famous player, they seem to get praised more for their tackling/dribbling/ball control skills than for their goals (I think?) So, judge each match like an episode of Strictly. They could play some Glenn Miller and the crowd could sing along.

I think they should keep playing and take 2 players off every 5 mins.

I'd like to see a dance-off. An individual dance from one player, a duet and a final routine involving all players.

They should’ve got the subs on to play. Mix it up, see what happens.

Considering the fans all think they could do better maybe they could pick 5 fans from each side & make them take the penalties

I actually like the idea of basing it on red & yellow cards, Italy might have had a problem with it!
