Office meeting with all the managers. A chair is dirty person x goes to sit on and then says I will get a dirty bum. Aibu to think it’s a bit inappropriate in a professional setting.

Err no

FourEyesGood · 10/07/2021 15:25

I couldn’t get even slightly worked up about that.

maddy68 · 10/07/2021 15:26

Is this a serious post ?

GrandmaSteglitszch · 10/07/2021 15:26

I hope the chair got cleaned before they sat on it.
That's all.

LIZS · 10/07/2021 15:26

Really?

Whyyouso · 10/07/2021 15:27

They could have just have said they would clean the chair don’t need to mention body parts. I never would in front of my managers.

Elune · 10/07/2021 15:28
Confused
HerrenaHarridan · 10/07/2021 15:28

Is it the bum word thats makes you uncomfy?

MartinaMcBride · 10/07/2021 15:28

Yanbu they should've said something more like- My derriere will no longer be pristine if I perch upon this seating apparatus.

WhoNeedsaManOfTheWorld · 10/07/2021 15:28

Grin how does one so precious survive in this cruel world?

DogsSausages · 10/07/2021 15:29

Its inappropriate to expect someone to sit on a dirty chair. Why wasnt the room properly checked before the meeting.

Macaroni46 · 10/07/2021 15:29

I'd be more concerned about your lack of punctuation

TheAwfuITruth · 10/07/2021 15:29

Was it Buckingham Palace offices, with the Top Manager HRH?

If not, I wouldn't worry about it!

Hankunamatata · 10/07/2021 15:42

I think your being a bit precious. Totally fine what they said

Doghead · 10/07/2021 16:01

Hahahaha. Is this a joke?

Stompythedinosaur · 10/07/2021 16:05

This would be fine in my workplace, especially in an internal meeting.

paintedpanda · 10/07/2021 16:05

Gosh. Imagine if they'd said arse which I probably would in front of my managers

MouldyPotato · 10/07/2021 16:07

Nah that's fine

CoRhona · 10/07/2021 16:07

Is arse better? Or posterior?

MinesAPintOfTea · 10/07/2021 16:07

Definitely inappropriate. In the workplace they should have said arse.

mum2jakie · 10/07/2021 16:09

Yep we're coarse enough to complain about dirty arses in our management team!!
