To think in a professional situation this is the wrong way to phrase things

Office meeting with all the managers. A chair is dirty person x goes to sit on and then says I will get a dirty bum. Aibu to think it’s a bit inappropriate in a professional setting.

OP posts:
SheABitSpicyToday · 10/07/2021 16:09

Do you still call a penis a thingy and sex IT? Grin

melj1213 · 10/07/2021 16:13

Obviously that was inappropriate they should have said they would end up with a "soiled derriere" ... or maybe you should stop being precious that someone dared suggest that sitting in a dirty chair would leave them with a dirty arse?

Chikapu · 10/07/2021 16:17

ButtOCKS would have been way more professional, can't believe someone made such an arse of themselves by saying bum!

lughnasadh · 10/07/2021 16:20

OP are you trying to build up a posting history before going for the big one? Or a namechanger who jumped the shark on the last one?

Your posts are mad Grin Confused

SchrodingersImmigrant · 10/07/2021 16:21

How do you keep coming out with these?

SchrodingersImmigrant · 10/07/2021 16:21

Up not out

girlmom21 · 10/07/2021 16:22

Would you rather get a dirty bum?

WomanStanleyWoman · 10/07/2021 16:43

@Whyyouso

They could have just have said they would clean the chair don’t need to mention body parts. I never would in front of my managers.
That’s because you’re a much better person than the kind of trash who would publicly admit to having an arse.
Ohhyeahright · 10/07/2021 16:48

Omg Grin

Hadjab · 10/07/2021 16:48

How old are you OP?

Htpri · 10/07/2021 16:49

Good Job you aren’t in some of my ‘professional setting’ meetings

BillyWhozz · 10/07/2021 16:52

Bum-ist.

dancemusicsexromance · 10/07/2021 16:57
Hmm
JorisBonson · 10/07/2021 16:58

I wish this is all I had to worry about.

MotionActivatedDog · 10/07/2021 16:59

How do you cope with normal life OP?

Romanoff · 10/07/2021 17:00

I am so glad I don't work with people like the OP.

I can't believe someone would get upset about the bum being used in front of managers.

My MD has heard far worse out of my mouth.

annacondom · 10/07/2021 17:00

I don't think it's very professional, OP.

ThursdayWeld · 10/07/2021 17:00

People have bums. Even managers !! Shock

chickenyhead · 10/07/2021 17:00

Honestly, I would have said far worse

Teapotsandtablecloths · 10/07/2021 17:01
Biscuit
sweeneytoddsrazor · 10/07/2021 17:01

I can pretty much guarantee my boss would have said my arse will get fucking filthy if I sit on that chair.

Romanoff · 10/07/2021 17:02

I genuinely, don't get why it's unprofessional.

WorraLiberty · 10/07/2021 17:02

This place is getting weirder by the hour.

butterflies218 · 10/07/2021 17:03

You'd hate to work in my office if that offends you!

One of the men chucks a bouncy ball at our MD every time he walks out his office and the MD replies with "fuck off" every time.

It's what keeps me in the job, we have a laugh but still get our work done.

MoiraRose4 · 10/07/2021 17:03

Good god, it’s a good job you don’t hear the way me and my manager speak to one another.
