I find Italy/France/Scotland rousing.
South African is inspiring the way they melded together to cover the whole nation - 5 languages including Xhosa, Zulu, Sesotho, Afrikaans and English.

Mine British (for the football English) anthem is a dirge, and of course ludicrous that England doesn’t have a separate anthem.

YANBU my favourite too (I’m half Italian) followed by French, Welsh and German. Anyone else put on the subtitles and do anthem karaoke??

My own Scottish awesome too English one I’ve always felt is very droll not very inspiring (sorry QE2).

England doesn’t have an anthem - it uses the British anthem which could be viewed as a bit arrogant. I thought there was talk of Jerusalem being adopted?
