I love the way that it's possible to sing along to the Italian anthem just by using various permutations of "tiddly pom".

It's very jolly, but the French one might just have the edge imo.

For me the Italian one is always somehow forgettable. I enjoy it at the time, but can I recall it afterwards? I cannot. Germany has the best anthem. I do like the Welsh one. England and Scotland both need different ones. God Save the Queen is a) not specifically English, and b) SUCH a bloody droney bore. The poor Queen, having that sung at her all her adult life. And Flower of Scotland only makes sense when Scotland are playing England.

There are a few good ones, which have been mentioned here - Wales, France, Russia I like, and also Germany. Scotland and Ireland aren’t bad too.

Ours (England / U.K.) is crap but there are some others equally dirge like.
