To wonder where Matt Hancock is hiding?

Does anyone else find it odd that the press haven’t found him yet, given that they must be looking everywhere and most people would recognise him if they saw him now? Do you think someone is harbouring him somewhere? Why are they hounding his wife and not looking for him? I mean can’t hide forever can he, at some stage he’s got to come out of the woodwork and face the music instead of hiding like a coward.

I assume he's busy shagging his other woman somewhere.

It's ridiculous how he behaves atrociously and it's his wronged wife who has to suffer the fallout.

Re his wife courting the photos - I doubt it, but if I were her, if the photographers wouldn't go away and I looked that damn fabulous, I'd probably go out just to hold my head high and show that weasel of a man what he was missing. Matt Hancock has not come out of this well, but Martha Hancock has proven to be a class act.

He is bound to be keeping a low profile at the moment, maybe sorting out family issues now etc.. The other woman will be doing the same I expect. They all probably have second homes to escape to, so the media can't find them.l

HarebrightCedarmoon · 01/07/2021 03:46

Why should the media want to find him anyway? The story's over, move on. Who gives a fuck where he is?

Nat6999 · 01/07/2021 04:04

Let's hope they find him before the enquiry in to the Covid deaths. In reality most of the Tory Government should be on trial for manslaughter, many of the deaths should have been preventable but as usual they were too busy lining their & their friends pockets The care homes scandal was frankly disgusting, if the Tories had been in opposition when Covid struck & the same things had happened they would have been calling for heads to roll but sadly, I say this as a Labour Party member, the opposition isn't strong enough & haven't got the balls to stand up & fight. To know that while people were fighting for their lives the Health Secretary had his mind (& body) on having a shag fest with someone who was supposed to be focusing their mind on the pandemic while people were having to say goodbye to loved ones via face time & haven't been able to visit anyone in a care home for over a year. If the Government was a private company this would be corporate manslaughter.

@Perfectlystill @saraclara no is saying she should stay in the house I'm saying that first reliable sources are hinting that she isn't being hounded by the tabloids as others are making out. She's taken control and decided to work with them to be photographed

It's a bit silly to suggest that she has no other options but to walk her dog with her mother looking perfectly turned out if she didn't want to be seen

It's not a criticism it's an obvious observation, she's fully entitled to be as public as wants to be. Some posters were being too quick to condemn the newspapers for putting her on their front pages

I even saw a thread title the other day about her sunglasses, do you think she's not fully aware of what's she's doing? She's an intelligent woman

I think that she's a woman who needed to take her dog for a walk, was dressed as she normally is, and whose mum came with her as support.

Facing up to the journalists outside rather than asking her mum to walk the dog, is very different to the implications that she's using them or working with them.

Bluntness100 · 01/07/2021 08:35

Does it matter? He’s gone. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I agree. Not sure what people want to see now.
HappydaysArehere · 01/07/2021 09:16

It was the hypocrisy that infuriated people. There he was as the health minister telling us not to hug, kiss, etc etc and there he was blatantly seen to be doing the opposite. That was what angered people. Also the Accusations of sleaze that surrounded him of late together with the video all culminating in a general disgust.

Totally agree. But why are we looking for him now?
Lampzade · 01/07/2021 09:28

I am glad that I don’t have to see his annoying ,smug little face anymore. I couldn’t give a hoot about the fact that he is in hiding

daisyjgrey · 01/07/2021 09:33

Isn't it interesting that the sun journalist who broke the story is Carrie Symonds ex? Who she's on good terms with.
Feel so sorry for the six children involved.

HandsSpaceArse · 01/07/2021 12:30
@LakieLady if you do see him give him a smack round the face from me! Thanks!
And me.

Catfox1 · 01/07/2021 12:33

I was thinking about this the other day. Somewhere with his new girlfriend without the children and without the pressures of his former job. Probably having a fantastic time the weasel.

From what's being reported in the Mail today no-one "broke the story" it was offered for sale to at least one other journalist who turned it down before it ended up at the Sun.
DobbyTheHouseElk · 01/07/2021 12:44

Who was offering the video? DC?

Mydogisagentleman · 01/07/2021 13:05

I think I saw him on our local BBC news working or at a meeting in his constituency.

I don't know who you mean by DC, you'd probably need to contact the writer to get the name

newnortherner111 · 01/07/2021 14:32

Please wherever he is, have some respect for weasels and do not compare them to Matt Hancock. And also the person who made the comparison with Konnie Huq when talking about Matt Hancock's 'friend' is being most unfair to the former Blue Peter presenter.
