18, I took everything and changed my address on everything (unlike some uni/ other friends who went home at weekends more often and kept that as their “official”home address.

I moved back to rent next door to my parents at 24 for 6 months, then away and then back renting next door from 28- 32 (with DH and 2 kids) and moved away again since.

16. I lived alone until I was in my 30s.

Went to university when I was 18, so sort of half moved out but back for holidays. Moved out fully at 22.

Those who left at 16, how? How do you secure a rental at that age?

17 first time, it was like revolving doors with me & siblings, 2 of which had to share bedroom with.

I was 17

18 - moved to uni and never returned for holidays, then had a baby and got a council house when I was 19.

17, moved in with my older boyfriend/fiancé.

16 for me, moved in with boyfriend and we were both working so could afford rent back then. Split up when I was 18 yrs then I ping ponged back and forward between private rents and my mums and dads sofa until I was 25 yrs.

16. Couldn't wait to move out! Went to college in the next town, saw a room advertised for £50pw, moved out the week after. Lived with a bunch of 20 year olds. Absolutely bloody loved it! They used to enjoy getting me really stoned.
