There isn't a gift for a 9 year old girl. They are all different so just buy the kid something she'd like, as hopefully you know her.

HollowTalk · 27/06/2021 15:01

What sort of things does she like to do?

Budgetating · 27/06/2021 15:03

Anything Pokemon

DobbyTheHouseElk · 27/06/2021 15:04

Books?
Pens, pencils furry notebooks
Ty beanie boos
Metal hydroflask
Clothes
Art kits
Designafriend doll
Outdoor games
Rucksack
Skateboard

PumpkinKlNG · 27/06/2021 15:12

Can’t you just ask? Mine wouldn’t have wanted anything Pokemon, they are all different.

Bayleaf25 · 27/06/2021 15:13

Echo the skateboard idea.

Basketball
Fairy lights for bedroom
Clothes
Board games
Tickets to a musical

Bayleaf25 · 27/06/2021 15:13

Bayleaf25 · 27/06/2021 15:15

Sorry my DD quite sporty so all those things went down really well

Comedycook · 27/06/2021 15:18

Craft sets

Smiggle stuff

Lego

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 27/06/2021 15:19

My dd age 9? Science stuff, anything dinosaur related, cool lego sets either Harry Potter, science or dinosaur related and books. Lots of books. With an ample book voucher for good measure.

PurpleFlower1983 · 27/06/2021 15:21

Those fiddle toy popper things!

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 27/06/2021 15:21

Sports stuff, board games, ridiculous furry/sparkly stuff for bedroom eg cushions etc?

Experiences - tickets, a session to try out pottery, a street dance class

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 27/06/2021 15:24

I look in hippy shops and antiques fairs for my 9 year old girl, as she's into crystals and dragons. Just this morning I found her a jewellery box shaped like a sort of steampunk dragon at an antiques market and put it away for Christmas.

She got a fountain pen last Christmas, that went down very well, if that helps?

Winkywonkydonkey · 27/06/2021 15:26

Smiggle shit

Temp023 · 27/06/2021 15:26

Disco ball or disco light, about £15 on Amazon.

Funnily enough, my DH gave our DD10 an old fountain pen of his yesterday and she loves it. Green ink too so she thinks it’s very fancy!

I find it hard as DD10 has older sisters too so has inherited stuff down the years. She did tie-dying at Guides the other day and that was a big hit. But she wouldn’t know anything about Pokemon.

Yy to the popper things - they’re very addictive!

Puffinhead · 27/06/2021 15:31

You can get colour changing light bulbs, they’re pretty cool. We already had disco balls and she loves them too.

Concerned2021 · 27/06/2021 15:34

I have asked her trust me 🤣 she doesn’t seem to want anything despite she would be very disappointed not to get anything haha !

No 9 year old child is the same. What does she like? Book vouchers are always a good go-to when you don’t have any ideas.

Concerned2021 · 27/06/2021 15:36

She doesn’t really like things until she gets them like no specific things she wants. If I suggest ideas to her she would then be like oh yes that of no to that.

As I said her siblings - not a problem 🤣 can shop for them all day long.

See my child wouldn’t have liked anything suggested here so it’s very difficult to say,
You know her best!

Atalune · 27/06/2021 15:46

Tambourine
Microphone
Hammock swing seat
Rollerblades
Earring making kit
Sewing machine

stressbucket1 · 27/06/2021 15:53

A mini photo printer? We have a sprocket and that's really good. Can print photos from a smartphone or tablet and add emojis stickers etc. Depends on budget though. Craft stuff always goes down well too particularly air dried clay

Phineyj · 27/06/2021 15:55

Smiggle voucher. Even if she doesn't like overpriced glittery stuff, that's a couple of 2022 class gifts sorted for the parents.

Nononsense2 · 27/06/2021 15:57

Rollerblades
Tie dye kit
Clothes
Harry Potter books
Art case
Karaoke machine
